Motorola MOTOZINE ZN5 (Unlocked)

Not a lot of people have this phone. It is a great phone! It has a wonderful Kodak camera w/ flash that takes better pictures then my actual digital camera.
The phone does what it is suppose to do, you can talk, chat, take pictures, and play games. Yes this phone has a lot more features for the more technically demanding consumer but if you like a phone that is reliable and WELL BUILT, don't need all the bells and whistles but still like a modern phone, I would strongly suggest this. If you do get this phone I hope you like it as much as I am!

Pros-

+ Interface is great
Very neat and clean and self explainatory.

+ Camera is nice
Nice set up. It's still worse than a designated 5mp camera. I expected it to be on par with it. Not really at all. But still a nice camera because it's always on you, and an upgrade from your 2mp phone. If you don't have a designated camera, this is a huge plus.

Neutrals-

= The look and feel of the phone.
It's really a matter of opinion, but it's definitely not the hottest phone I've owned. I could do without the purple. But in some respects I like it. I'm not embarrassed to whip it out in front of a girl.

Cons-

-Keys are not that great to use.
I mean I can live with it fine, and I'm sure I'll grow accustomed to it, but as of now texting is not the smoothest ever. At all. The bottom right and left keys are hard to press. This isn't that big of a deal since they're not used much.

-Texting options limited
I don't like how you can't turn off your predictive text. But it is very smart predictive text, and can learn entire phrases that you use often. Which is awesome. But can be a pain.

-Preset Themes are MEH at best
And it seems to be a problem getting new ones on there.

-The sound effects while scrolling through menus isn't great.
No options there besides turning it off. It should be completely customizable.


OVERALL

I like the phone a lot. I'll be keeping it around for a while, and hopefully we'll grow on each other.

It beats the KRZR and the XpressMusic 5310.

I bought the NewPhonethree weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 5M-pixel camera, video camera,wi and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

The phone absolutely rocks. The Camera is the best on any phone to date. the WiFi rocks. Im used to motorolas, so I like the menu set up. Very Easy to operate. I had a few hang ups installing the software on my computer, but once i got the kinks worked out it runs perfectly. Installing music, pics and other apps is a breeze as is transferring it back and forth which ensures all data is backed up. I highly reccommend this phone.

The only thing I dislike, and maybe I have not searched enough though, is that I can not separate my songs and pictures in folders. This phone is totally amazing in every way!

Had an AT&T Tilt which I grew to HATE! After suffering with the Tilt, not being able to take a fast or even decent photo, I decided my priority was to get a phone for two main functions, Camera and Phone. The ZN5 is the perfect answer. The camera is great, and the phone is good. The sound quality is not quite as good as the tilt, but the camera runs rings around it. I no longer miss a shot with the ZN5, it's fast. Photo quality for a phone is outstanding. No one should expect it to be as good as a stand alone camera, come on folks! It sure comes close. It suits me perfectly.

I got this phone a few weeks back and I just love it. This is my personal digital camera, it takes some really awesome pictures. The good thing is that there not much lag time between clicking pictures which makes it easy to take multiple shots. The picture clarity is also very nice, the xenon flash is not the best but it does a decent job. The phone has a lot of other features such as wi-fi, video-player, mp3 player etc which is an added bonus. The wifi seems to be very easy to use. The phone's OS is pretty nice too, not much lag like some earlier motorola phones. Call quality is superb also, great voice clarity.All in all this is a great phone with a really super camera.

I wanted a camera that I can always have with me. Unlike women who carry a purse, all I usually have with me is my walet, keys and phone. My older motorola V8 had a terrible camera so I though the ZN5 was a great idea. As it turns out, the results from this camera phone are in fact better that thos eof other camera phones I have seen, but still not up to the quality of even the cheapest stand alone cameras. As an owner of a nikon DSLR, I have to say that the quality of the shots from the ZN5 in good light with the autofocus feature are a significant improvement from typical camera phones, but the autofocus is nto always on point and in anything less than perfect light the quality is ehh so so at best. Don't get me wrong, having this camera phone with me at times has already lead to me having the opportunity to take some excellent shots. Any camera is better than the one that's at home when you need it most, but if you do have a purse or a bag that you carry regularly, spend a $100 on stand alone little camera and call it a day.

this has the best camera i ever had on a phone. i have owned numerous 5 megapixel phones and this one had the fastest focus. the phone focuses in less than a second, nokia takes about 5 seconds. If you like motorolas this is the greatest phone for you, but i did not like the menu styles. this camera is great, but the phone is average.

i've read many reviews of zn5 Before i've bought the zn5. My expectations were great : camera, sound, screen,call and material quality. I must admit that zn5 met my expectations very well.

The camera is for sure the best in its class : 5mp, it even beats some other 8mp pixels. You can shoot photos instantly and share them with one simple click with designated simpleshare button. XenonFlash and red-eye reduction. Camera shoots simply awesome and lightspeed photos. The downside is video recording quality : 176x144.

Sound : It is not as loud as N73 but sound quality is great both with the earphones and speaker. I used motorokr e8 for a while, zn5 is on par or very close to e8 when it comes to sound departmant.

Screen : 2.4 inch 262.000 colors screen is very bright and colorful, produced better and realistic colors than N82 screen. It is very resistant to scratches,too.

Calls : I've never missed a call, it gets signal everywhere. Calls are crystal clear thanks to its CrystalTALK technology. It filters the background noises and just transforms your voice on the line. The only phones with better call quality are Motorola VE66 and EM35 which have CrystalTALK2 technology inside.

Material : It's heavy and fits well in the hand, feels so durable and the materials used on the phone gives you somewhat luxury comfort.

Pros (+)

Good Wifi reception, easy connection, Tv-out, supports 16GB SDHC cards tho it states 4gb on the box, tested myself.

Cons (-)

-It doesn't have 3G, it should have had 3g on this phone.
-Keypad is hard to text if you're texting much.
-Battery lasts 2 days.

I wanted to replace my phone & this phone does the trick! Seller shipped practically the same moment I won!
The casing is slightly warped & phone works like a charm!
I would do business with seller again -- just need more head's up on physical condition -- products are acceptable and in working order.

Motorola ZN5 T-MOBILE - super phone. camera - KODAK 5MPx - Excellent. bluetooth, wifi, radio, mp3, video, smartphome! the best cameraphone!

This product, the zn5, has an excellent 5.0 kodak camera. It takes beautiful pictures. The phone is excellent, enabled with t-mobile fav five. The phone is very clear sounding. Texting on the phone takes a little while to get used to since it has a flat smooth keyboard. After some getting use to it's perfect for texting, with great predictive text as well as remebering frequently used words.

Charges are far too high,it is not worth selling on ebay.
I only use e bay to buy.
I bought two phones,one was faulty and one was stolen, although i got refunds it is not worth all the hastle.
I received an e mail from paypal saying someone was trying to access my account so i have closed my paypal a/c.

I needed a new phone and decided to purchase the Motozine, due to the camera capabilities and that it seemed to be a good phone. The camera on the phone is excellent, however the phone itself is not that great. It tends to freeze up alot and power off all the time. It would power off simply by gently laying it down on a hard flat surface. I may have overcome that problem, not without great effort on my part. Also the phone is constantly trying to sync, even when there is nothing to be synchronized. I believe there is a way to stop it from doing that, but I haven't tried it yet. Other than these problems which, in my opinion, are major annoyances, the phone is good. If I had known I would have these problems, I would not have purchased this phone.

the camera alone is definitely worth it. it takes amazing pictures! although the video camera doesn't use the 5 mp so the quality isn't as good. the wi-fi is definitely a great addition but it drains the battery fast. all other functions work great and i'm very happy with it.

This is a perfect phone for making picuture.Camera is 5mp,but pictures look perfetcly,like 10mp.Java is also fast.Its form is comfortable to use.This phone gets mark A+

i like the camera on it but that's about it i hate the keys and the internet on it isn't that great it goes slow and has small writing which makes it hard to use.

I bought this phone because I wanted a good camera that was fast to use. The pictures this phone take are really good. I was suprised how easy it was to use and it's a good phone too.

The product is great. I just put in my sim card into the phone and everything works fine. It's exactly as was described and i received it very quickly. OVerall, i am very happy.
