Motorola MOTORAZR V3m (Verizon Wireless)

I bought the phone 4 days ago and it was shipped the next day quick ship and exactly as described and in excellent condition.

This is a great cheap phone, and gets the job done. No high tech fancy stuff just a very user-friendly sleek phone!!!

I needed a new phone so i tried to razr. Needed a new battery otherwise I am pleased. Sends and receives call great.

This thing drops calls like we do our underwear when we take a crap. It looses coverage every 5 sec. poor phone.

I bought this to replace the Motorola MOTORAZR V3m that fryed when I fell in the water. Ihave spair batteries and a battery charger for a Motorola MOTORAZR V3m and so I desided stick with the same phone.

The phone have little problem when receive a call get little shack after 10 second it clear up. But! everything else is fine.

needs a new battery but i like it other wise. i needed a new phone so i could tak to my boyfriend.so i bought this phone on ebay not knowing it needed a new battery

I was looking for a thinner phone compared to my large pda. Searched for small phones on ebay. Found this motorazr. It was a great buy and it just may be the the best phone purchase I've made. months later, I am very glad I bought it. The phone was as advertised and shipping was fast.

was really happy to see the features of this fone. cool screen and keypad. also the sound quality and reception is great. only slight probs with battery life ie needs recharging quiet often and the program speed is a bit slow. else its an excellent fone. have dropped it 3 times from approx 5 feet height ad not a single scratch.

This phone is great, it's smaller than the v3m and lacks a micro sd port, but it has a huge interior display and great resolution. the voice commands make doing almost anything easy.

This phone is cute. It is thin. It fits nice in a tight jeans pocket. It does what it is supposed to do fine, but anything else is a bit of a stretch. It is slow, after clicking to open a text message, expect to wait a few seconds before anything happens. This can get very frustrating if you text more than one person at a time and your phone is freezing while you are trying to text.

Dude sold me a phone that needed what he said was a dec# check. I bought the phone, took the phone to Verizon to have to have the phone activated. Verizon informed me that the phone was still activated. So fifty dollars for a phone that won't activate. Buyer beware. The dude was very rude in his response to my concerns.

I like this phone because it has video, and you can record your own ringtones! But, that's not all! It also has V cast! The only problem is that the battery doesn't hold a charge for very long! but, it did come with lots of extras including 4 snap-on cases! Overall, it is a very nice phone and I like it a lot!

Pros:
Durable, reliable, good audio quality, and strong signal

Cons:
Aging style, weaker camera by today's standards, limited in more advanced network features compared to current phones, and not the best for text messaging

Need an inexpensive (or likely free with contract) basic phone for voice use? Not into using phone as camera all the time? Don't need phone and PDA in one device? The Moto V3m is a strong contender. For me, a camera is a camera, not a phone or PDA. Likewise a PDA is a PDA, not a phone. While the V3m is now a backup and I switch my account to it when doing something that might risk cell phone damage, it does what I want a phone to do, make reliable voice calls, and it does it very well. That and its current "contract" price are likely why it's the most ubiquitous phone seen where I work. While there are a few phones mechanically more robust like the KRZR and maxx Ve I have, and the V9m my wife currently uses, the V3m is more than sufficient, and still fares better than many others I've handled from other phone makers. I don't recommend it for most kids who tend to physically abuse phones, nor for anyone else that believes a phone should also double as a hockey puck. It won't take it, but with reasonable care it will last a very long time.

Two more dislikes, but they're related to Verizon and the phone as it comes from Verizon out of the box, not Motorola or the V3m. It's the UI (User Interface), which is not Motorola's generic UI (found on most other CDMA carriers' V3m), and how Verizon cripples numerous features Motorola built into the phone. However, unlike many other phone makers (e.g. LG or Samsung), the Moto phones can be converted back to what Motorola originally intended in its design by flashing it with either generic Motorola (development team) firmware, or the firmware used by one of several other CDMA carriers, and then service programmed for Verizon's network (and one's own account with Verizon). Takes a little work, but it's not horribly difficult. Converted back to Motorola's user interface, with various features re-enabled (e.g. ability to use USB cable to upload and download ringtones, music and photos), it's a marvelous phone.

The phone was not the issue, it was not worth all the time we waited. 29 days I believe is to long. We paid enough to get good service and we did not. Also one email from them and a tracking number after I asked for it. Won't do it again. Buyer beware

This phone is super and works well. Bought it for our Grand Daughter, because Grandpa has one and loves it. Our Grand Daughter wanted one too, and like all the things it can do. Plus it is just the right size for her.

I bought the MOTOROLA RAZOR V3m about 2 mths. ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 3M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 12 hours. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

First of all let me say that I'm a big man with probably larger than average hand size. The one problem--THE ONLY PROBLEM I have run into with this phone is this. My phone rings and I want to answer it quickly. What happens next without fail is I fumble getting the phone open and end up pressing the adjustment functions on the sides of the phone. Even when I go slow, I end up making adjustments to the ringer or hanging up inadvertantly. Well, thats my only gripe. Otherwise it is a great phone.
