Motorola MOTOKRZR K1m (Unlocked)

I just got the new KRZR K1m for Alltel wireless. It is so awesome, options more than most phones! Nice Camera 1.3 Megapixel. Contacts List that holds up to 1,000 entries. Two color screens. Very shiny front almost looks like a mirror! The charger is wiered the plug is to the same as most digital cameras have. It charges real quik. It has a touchscreen for the mp3 feature, I use a 512mb card but it goes to 1gb, the slot for the microSd is in the back near the battery. The battery doesn't drain too quik really. The screen is great size. The phone is tiny, my friend has a pink v3 and this one is slightly thicker in width but is much less wider. The phone is an awesome color it is Dark Pearl Gray, it's got a reflective front side, the only bad thing of the front is u can see every where you've touched on the front leaves very noticable fingerprints and smudges. Has very nice sound qauility on speaker, has awsum ringtones i like almost all of them. What I got in my box was: manuals, phone, travel charger, thats all really i wish it came with headphones because their headphones on their website are $50. I have been involved with the Cellular Industry for 12 years, and it still cracks me up how many people complain about there Motorola Phones. While this is only my opinion, and maybe backed up by Motorola being the number one phone company in the world, but from all levels motorola designs and sells the best phone on the market.
First off from a sales point of view, they are extremly sexy designed phones. They peform fantastic, all the functions work extremly well. The Cadilac of Wireless Phones if you will
From a Repair Aspect. Super easy repairs, access to parts, and Software support from motorola. Most people who complain about there phones do not realize they can go to the web site and update there own software. after all it is a mini computer anymore, and needs to be updated.
Something most don't address is the resale value of there phones. and by far Motorola is the top. I still sell Nextel i-530 handset at a strong price and the phone is like 4 years old.

95% of all my business is with Motorola. I can repair and refubish most phones but Motorola is by far the best to work with.

And food for thought, most phones now days cost 350+ to build, but when people get them for .99 with a two year contract that is exactly how they treat them. You won't your phone to work and last?? treat it more like a computer and less like a diposable camera.

I bought this cell phone I thought I was getting a good deal but instead I got ripped off. I cant use the phone because it has been reported lost or stolen. So it has a bad esn number. There's nothing I can do with the phone it was a waste of money and now I filed a claim with paypal but I dont think I'll get my money back. So now I dont know if I'll ever buy on ebay again because I don't want to lose my money again.

what a nice sleek phone.

cons: it doesn't blink or have any outward notifier when one misses a call or text etc., it takes a couple seconds to load, it's like a computer and you have to wait for it to process info.

but it's worth it, because it's a great phone. great camera quality and volume levels. love the speaker phone!

The phone's slick design and sexy looks maybe nice but there are so many negatives i have had the phone since it came out and i have had it replaced approximately a total of 3 times withing 4 months, i Also bought 3 of these phones for the family, 2 of them keep breaking and one the batter was replaced on the third day and since then it was working fine the other two phones are just being sent in constantly for problems. Some negative aspects verizon metions when u exchange the phone is "It was in your pocket lint got into the phone," thats how good this phone is lint breaks it >.< IMO get a nice VX8300 or even 8100 that phone rocks no problems, dropped over 100 times still in perfect condition.

THE GOOD: The Motorola Krzr K1m is downright sexy and offers Bluetooth, EV-DO support, and good call quality.

THE BAD: The Motorola Krzr K1m suffers from metallic music quality, poor streaming videos, and sluggish performance. Also, it offers a lower-resolution camera than on the GSM Krzr K1.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Though it's oh-so pretty, the Motorola Krzr K1m doesn't offer any new features. Plus, multimedia performance wasn't reliable.

Nice sleek phone, great size, although a bit thicker than the Rzr when folded.. decent camera.. excellent call quality and sounds good with headsets too. bluetooth headset is nice feature!

This is by far the best phone Motorola has ever put out! The ease of use is fabulous.. the camera is superb.. the MP3 player is terrific in every way.. and the reception is great!

I bought this phone as a replacement for my boyfriend. He absolutely loves this phone because it has the features he needs. Mp3 player, Music Store, and he can even watch live television on it!! If you want something sleek and perfect for that music guy or gal, I recommend this phone. Two thumbs UP!

P.S. When I read that some one has rated it good with Blue Tooth, hmmm, that is one of my huge complaints.

The Motorola S9 will not properly function with the phone, NOT STEREO folks and Moto admits it.

PLUS., battery life is not even close to what Moto ppromises.

The LG 8700 is the better way to go BY FAR!

The good: The Motorola Krzr K1 offers good call quality and comes with Bluetooth, a 2-megapixel camera, and a speakerphone.

The bad: The Motorola Krzr K1 lacks 3G support and external music controls.

The bottom line: Though the GSM Motorola Krzr K1 has a more attractive color scheme than the CDMA Krzr K1m, some feature differences make it mostly comparable with its sibling.

I had made an error in the shipping address. Seller's response was not only fast but re-assured me that my item would make it to the corrected address. Thanks for all the help on a great item which was exactly as described.

THe software is slow and freezes sometimes. Ringtones cannot be added from a txt message. The hinge is built well but the rest of the casing is pretty janky. Doesn't get a very good signal. Battery life sucks.

The item was in excellent condition. But the battery would not keep a charge no longer than 20 minutes in use. Had to order new battery. Phone now works great.

i decided to buy it because i had one exactly like it then it was stolen from me. the key pad was really worn down which i thought was wierd because the guy i bought it from said he only used it for three months.otheer than that i really love it and all the ring tones on it!

Great looking phone, functional for everyday use, bought it for the MP3 player function...fits nice in my hand, would buy another.

The phone has been great so far. It replaced a nokia flip phone that I had for about 6 months that broke in half, so anything is an improvement. My only complaint is I have trouble sending multimedia messages and short video clips.

Nice and slim with great reception. Have not even gotten to the music capabilities. It does what a phone should. It works!

This has gotta be the best Motorola phone that I have ever had and its got great reception, music, and it looks cool too

I loved the color but the phone didn't work well. I wasted over 100 dollars on this phone. I wish I wouldn't have.
