Reviews  MD700 Phone a Good Buy For the price, these are excellent phones. Their range is quite good and they can be used all over the house. The original Ni-Cad batteries tended to go dead suddenly and unexpectedly, but replacing them with Ni-MH batteries made all the difference in the world. The internal pone number directories come in very handy. A little more memory for more numbers would be nice, but not everyone needs all that many.
