Motorola Krave ZN4 (Verizon Wireless)

This phone has several unique and excellent attributes that make it one of the better phones on the market. this phone was definitely designed to impress. the Clear cover flip portion is the only one of its kind on the market and it draws people's attention every time i open my phone. The sound quality is clear and the phone gets pretty good reception. While the phone is closed the second touch screen performs more simple tasks but is still very useful for VZ Navigator and Music. The only down side to the phone would have to be that it has not physical keys except for the home key. Although, this seems to be the way of the future as almost every new phone that comes out is 100% touch screen. The inner touch screen does give tactile feed back and is quite useful and easy to use. Motorola was wise and developed a very easy to use interface when it comes to touch screens, all the icons are large and can be controlled with large sweeping motions. In addition when texting or browsing the web the phone uses a simple accelerometer and is able to detect which way the phone is placed so that you can text or view the web horizontally or vertically. Overall useful phone if your into the latest technology and trends.

I loved this phone and I definitely utilized all the features it came with. I would watch tv all the time when i was slow at work; you don't get every channel but you still get a decent amount. In regards to the previous reviewer, unfortunately the person who sold it to you on ebay should have mentioned the condition of it to you and if they did they shouldn't have lied, if it didn't power on i would be disappointed too, but my phone is in great working condition, i just ended up switching carriers and have the iPhone now, which is great but I definitely miss the GPS and TV features this phone offers.

This is a great phone. I love the fact that it's a blackberry-type phone and it flips closed. Nothing is worse than cold calling someone from your pocket for an hour and you not knowing it. The texting isn't very convenient, but as soon as you get used to it, it's not that bad. The flip actually gets in the way when you change the direction of the screen from horizontal to vertical to text. But like I said, you get used to it. The speakerphone rocks. I like that it isn't flimsy and small. I can always find it in my purse. It's not hard to navigate through the applications. You can go back and forth with a touch of the touch screen. I love that too. Great touch screen. It vibrates back at you when you touch it so you know you hit it. My favorite part is that it flips. I had the Storm and I always would call people if I forgot ot lock the phone. I hate locking the phone. I don't know why. It's only one step, but I don't like every time I make a call I have to unlock it and then lock it when I'm done. The Storm also would if you leaned it against your shoulder and put your head to the side to hold it the Storm would hit the mute button on the screen and I would be talking for like a minute and then you hear "hello, hello" on the other end. You pressed mute with your face and you didn't know it. That doesn't happen with the Krave. Though I hear the new Storm is better, I still like my flip. Size is good and features are great. Under the media function, it has music ID. Using this function, the phone will tell you name and artist of a song that is being played by another source.
Only thing I dont like, key pad is a little touchy. Other than that love the phone

This phone is a very unique style phone. It is very different with the clear base to see through the phone. You dont have to flip the clear case to answer the phone, you can talk with it closed on speaker. Its loaded with options and has good reception as well. If u want to be the one that has a totally diff phone and not have a phone that looks like everyone else has out there than this is the one to get.

I love the phone altogether. Nothing wrong with it. Perfect condition and it is so awesome. Purchased because my old phone gave out and I wasn't due for an upgrade so I purchased this one. Would recommend it to anybody that likes the touch screen.

The phone has all the features I need and can use without being a technical wiz or a young adult. For those who want more than just a phone, you will not be disappointed.

I love it because I look so cool with a touch phone. I look COOL. People stare at me when I make sound effects to intensify the touch screen. It's cool that I get stares with the MOTO KRAVE. Thanks, Motorola. It is hard to use when the screen is all greased up with face grease. Good thing I bought Oaakleys so I can use the Oakley soft case to clean my phone daily. With a memory card the MP3 player is actually pretty cool. I don't have an IPOD so pretty colors on an MP3 player excite me. Sound quality is good but I hand up ALL the TIME because my face "touches" the end button. Damn this fat face. So i;m on a diet in order to use my phone but I look cool. Messaging is pretty standard, the interface is frustrating sometimes but my phone is six times cooler than my wifes. Anyway, if you have a crappier phone before this, you'll love it (my old phone sucked) but if you are cutting edge all the time, buy a Storm or an Env 20 or whatever they have out now.

I like the flip phone over the candy bar form factor because it feels better to me when speaking and listening with it. I chose this model because it was one of two options, the other was the LG Voyager, offered by Verizon for their mobile tv service that finally came to my coverage area. The touchscreen is nice with pleasant graphic formats, however, some functions were more difficult to work with, i.e., scrolling through the phone list often calls the listing that I've touched rather than let me continue to scroll(very frustrating). Also the qwerty keyboard in landscape mode is most difficult to use because of the flip form factor. But the call quality is excellent and that is what is most important to me above all else because it is a phone first.

The item was as described and worked good. The phone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has am alright lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

Takes time getting used to. Especially the qwerty pad and numeric pad. Will make a lot of errors in the begining. Once you get the hang of exactly where to touch, works fine. Will need to got to Motorola and download speed dial function (very easy to do). TV is great! Great reception, Volume good.

this is one of the best phones that i have gotten for my son who is extremely hard on them. gets excellent service anywhere he is compared to all the others.

price was great and refurbished in my opinion is much better than new in many cases. i love the phone.

highly functional and easy to use. I gave it to my spouse to replace another PDA and she loves it. This is a female friendly phone with all the bells and whistles.

This is an awesome phone. Great Motorola quality and reliability. This is by far the only phone with an easy to use menu and qwerty keyboard. Does just about everything my blackberry did and then some. So if you want a small phone and like your blackberry, this is it.

This phone is just like brand new. The only thing is when I purchased it i was thinking it had a slide out keyboard for texting, that was my mistake. And i am awful at touch texting, i guess my fingertips are too fat haha. I have had a env 2 and now have a blitz and i am so used to the keyboard type of phone. so I think i am going to just resell this Krave, but not because of anything wrong with the phone it is great. I am new at using e-bay and i need to look into how to place it back on e-bay to resell, just don't have time right now. but if anyone is interested at a great deal about $90.00 let me know. it is a very neat phone. i like the touch screen and the clear flip. it works great, and is an awesome phone for not being a smart phone

Its easy to use with lots of advance features. comparing to Iphone, this is a simplified software. What I like most is voice command which highly accurate than any other phones tested. Scale 1 out of 10 I give this one 8.0 plus its Motorola.

thanks for the extra chargers /bluetooth . the phone came within a couple days of purchase my son really likes the phone he has sent so many text messages in a few days since reciveing the phone everything is all good
