Motorola I856 Debut (Boost Mobile)

Introducing the Motorola i856, the first iDEN Slider Phone, which can be used on the Boost Mobile Unlimited $50.00/mo. plan. The i856 has a microSD slot which can hold up to 8 GB. Surprising, the i856 is more technologically advanced than the much hyped Motorola i9. It camera quality isn't as impressive as the AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon lineup of phones. It is screen quality is the best I have ever seen from iDEN phones. It has an "ugly" exterior, but this phone has everything you will expect from an iDEN phone and more. It has the acclaimed walkie-talkie feature. The battery life is better than the i9. If you must choose between the i856 or the more expensive i9, I humbly recommend the i856. It is over a $100.00 cheaper than the i9, has the same features as an i9, and unlike the i9 better battery life. Enjoy! :)

I was torn between buying a Motorola Clutch or buying a Motorola Debut. I ended up going with the Debut and let me tell you, I couldn't be happier. The Debut is a great phone. Great sound quality, so if you like to listen to music on your phone, this is a great phone. Also the picture quality this phone has is amazing. All in all, it is an amazing phone.

I love the look of this phone. Its sleek design and the music player is the coolest. I put a 4 gig micro card in it with hundreds of songs, pics, & videos and can play them on my phone! I love that it pauses whats playing if you get a call & asks if you'd like to continue once the call is done. I just wish it had a full keyboard, that would make it the ultimate phone!!! It has nice picture and video quality.Access to the web.I like the fact that I don't have to open it to talk or read my texts. But overall, this phone is a KEEPER.

It's a pretty sweet phone. Only down side I've found is that the phone's buttons are pretty small. But if you can deal with that you should get it.

love this phone yhe only thing I noticed is at times it freezes but if you slide it oit and in it should work again.

I like the fact that it has an MP3 player, alarm, calculator--everything my other Boost phones did not have. I decided to buy this phone due to my i776 messing up less than a year after buying it brand new. I think this phone is much better and hope to have it a while.

Love the sound quality-3d sound through head phones is awesome-MP3 player is easy to navigate- Cant use songs as ringtones though. Only problem we have is with boost mobile- Cant send or receive texts while making calls- error messages often because they are upgrading their system but can give no date or time(if ever)that these upgrades will be complete.

It was new and never opened. The seller had a great discription of it! There also was a picture of it to help me to know what it looked like! .It was nice to see it .

The battery doesn't seem to hold a charge very long. With other phones, I can go 4 or 5 days without charging, but I have to charge this one almost everyday. I bought this phone because it seemed like the best one they had for a cheaper price on the Boost Mobile network. I don't like how complicated the text messaging is; the network is really slow, and I have to press a lot of buttons and go through a lot of menus on the phone just to type a message. Other than those things, it's not a horrible phone, although texting is what I use the most.

This phone aint much different from the clutch, besides the mp3 player and how the internet works. I expected that for 169 that the phone would offer more. I would rather just use my clutch, which was 129 instead of 169 , which they both almost have the same apps and features.
