Motorola I530 (Sprint Nextel)

This cell phone is great and so are all the extras that came with it. I bought this phone because I just started a new job and need to be in contact with my day care lady at all times. The phone works great I have had no problems with it at all.

This is a very rugged and durable phone.No bells and whistles just does what it's supposed to do,communicate.I dropped mine in the lake last summer.Fished it out with a net,opened it up and pulled the battery and sim card.Laid it out in the sun to dry completly for a few hours and WA-LA been working fine since.Great phone.

You must be careful of used phones. If the flip part of the phone is cracked on either side, after minimal use, the phone could break apart or have display problems. We bought the phone as a replacement for one that had cracked so we were knowledgeable about cracks due to use and what was going to happen next. We had problems with the seller and had to file a dispute with paypal. It has not been pleasant. Beware. The seller tried to say the cracks were due to damage in shipment and because we didn't buy insurance, we were out of luck. It was obvious it was cracked due to use. They bubblewrapped the phone very well when they shipped it to us. Lots of trouble all the way around.

The Motorola i530 is not an ideal phone for a technophile, but it sure is one of the toughest phones ever came out with. This is one of the most basic phones you can have. There is no color screen, no multimedia messaging, no mp3 support, no camera, no wallpapers, no applications, and no games on this phone. All it can do is make and receive phone calls with crystal clear reception, the walkie-talkie feature is a very powerful addition, and all it supports is polyphonic ringtones. My friend ran over my i530 with her car, and it still worked. It still working hard, and taking all sorts of abuse. The phone's cosmetics after the accidents is now medicore. Strangely enough, the Motorola i530 reminds me of the old Sony Walkmans.

My aunt purchased this as a Christmas gift for me in 2005. I have since upgraded to different Nextel phones, but the reception is the finest out of all the other phones.

Very rugged phone. Perfect for someone who is an active outdoor person. Hear ability is very clear and understandable. Only flaw is the cosmetics. It will not fit a person who is looking for fancy light up features.This phone is perfect for me.

This item is great for construction workers especially. It is very durable and was military tested. It is also a really great phone because it works so good.

This person was not easy to deal with they reported me for not responding about payment. I had to resend payment 2 times because they could not recieve payment because they had it go to old email address wich was not my fault. If you are going to sell something you should have information correct before doing so. I don't believe any of that was my fault.

One thing that i really like about the nextel i530 its that it looks very nice and its a flip phone and some thing that i just like. Also anther thing is that they last for a long time of period. I really love nextel i530. There is not one single thing that i dislike about this phone. i decided to buy this cell phone the i530 is because i was at work and i was working on top of this tall ride at the amusement park and i took it out to check to see if there was any missed calls and then i droped and it fell from a 90ft ride and i looked down and it brook and i went down to pick it up and it was not useable not even for parts.So i got on line and when i saw this one i just like it and i really diceded to buy it.I really like this phone there is not a single thing that that i dislike. Although used, could not communicate well in that the sound could hardly be heard on the 2 way system. This was obviously known and should have been disclosed. Had to take parts from other phones to get to function properly.

great phone I though it had problem but it was user err. seller was very helpful and very nice. he even offered to call me and talk me through setup.

I replaced this phone with an I580. Then another, then another, then another and then I had enough. It may be old but it's durrable! Works well for me, not to mention the text messages with this phone are lightening fast.....

These phones are currently the most available, durable, and highest value replacement phones for the nextel network. They have all of the important features (600 number phone book is my favorite), and most importantly can take a severe beating. I am a contractor, and it is not a question of if i will have to replace phones, but how often. It is only a matter of switching out the sim card, and the phone is ready to go (however Nextel would probably like you to call and do what they call a "sim swap" so they can match up the serial # on the phone). I buy these phones often, keep a spare or two around for emergencies, and would without hesitation recommend this phone for anyone not concerned with the following:
-This unit is not very stylish (thick and plain compared to newer "slim" phones.
-does not have a camera.
-does not have a "color" screen (black text with a backlit green screen.
-does not run java application like many other nextel phones (no games).

The i530 is all about work, and is as durable as anything else I've seen at any price.

This cell phone is one of the most durable models that are out there, plus it has the flashy bright yellow and black flip case! With the Sprint/Nextel network it can't be beat, use the walkie-talkie system to reach out and touch anyone within the entire country. The speaker phone allows you to not have that ugly thing sticking out of your ear, clear and brilliant technology is what this phone is. Plus for the junkies that have the wandering foot, this phone utilizes satellites to triangulate your GPS location within seconds. Perfect if you get lost, have a flat tire in the middle of no where, or are hiking up to the top of that pristine mountain and hurt yourself. Try it - you'll like it, unless you want flashy lights and games... ;)

The durability of this phone can't be matched by any other! My husband ran over his with a truck and trailer over the weekend with the phone open... it still works and is in one piece! Amazing!

evryting was wrong but they tried but remember is a new company n good help is hard to find. the phone they sent me came with no battery or back piece to close the phone but then they sent me the back piece n battery then the phone stop working , she try but i cant complain they refunded my money n i sent the phone back thank you

When I recieved this phone I was very happy with the speed of delivery and the condition of the phone, however I had bought it for my Dad and it wasn't what he wanted. The seller states that he will accept returns within 3 days, but you have to contact him in order to do so. I sent him two emails stating that I wished to return the phone and he has not responded, so make sure that what you buy from this seller is actually what you want, because you won't get your money back!

There is nothing that disliked me about this item. The seller gave a reasonable price in comparision with the other sellers. There was also an excellent description about the item.

I had orded an I 530 phone from E-Bay and my liked it so I had to get her one.
I needed a replacement cell phone and I had talked to some of my frinds about
the I-530 phones and every one liked the ones that they where using.

Not only was the phone digustingly filthy, they obviously never tested it before they sent it out. All it knew how to do was vibrate, it wouldent even turn on. Not with any charger..mine or theirs. My refund was sent quickly, but there should have been a letter of apology, not just a check.

In the listing it says u can use this phone on boost mobile, WELL GUESS WHAT!!!! U CANT THEY LIED THROUGH THEIR teeth....
