Motorola I335 (Sprint Nextel)

I bought an I335 for my employee and purchased an i570 for myself, as the i570 is the popular new contractor flip phone. Well after using the i570 for a few weeks and fumbling with the awkward clip every time the phone rang, it dawned on me that the i335 was actually a much more solid, user friendly phone, so I bought one for myself and ditched the 1570. The reson that you see so many contractors using the i355 which looks like a 90's throwback phone, is because most guys don't want a tiny mini phone, we want a good solid phone. I like the fact that the back i335 is rubberized so you can put it on the dashboard of the truck and it won't get scratched, and wear it in the OEM clip without worrying about bumping into things and scratching the phone. It just feels solid in your hand, the buttons are firm, the ringer is ear piercing (helpful on the job with machine noise) and the other person's voice is clear. As far as email, java, fancy menu's etc. I could give a rat's ass about all that, I just need a phone that will hold up in dirty conditions and that will clean up well. The I335 is a real good phone, available on Ebay for the $50-$100 range.
Take my advice and bypass the higher dollar construction/military phones and give the i335 a look, you might be suprised as I was that it just "works" better than a fancier flip phone.

Good bar phones are getting harder to find but this one is a winner. Pure Nextel through and through. This phone gets great reception and the call quality is as good as it gets. All controls are responsive and the phone has a good solid feel to it. The only down side I could find is the battery life could be a little better, but that can be easily resolved with the extended battery.

Love it! Rubberized back, classic nextel screens, thin as heck. A camera would have been a nice addition, but this is my favorite phone to date, a heck of a lot better than the I930 that it replaced.

The Nextel i335 is a great basic Nextel phone. It has rugged rubberized buttons. Light in Weight. On the down side the phone feel cheaply made. I could snap the phone in half with ease.

When i got the phone it worked for one day and then the next day it dropped calls and would send all mu calls to voice mail. I had to buy a new phone out of the store.

It was just what I needed. I am very satisfied with my new phone. Thank you so much. I look forward to doing business with you again. This was actually my first puchace on Ebay, and it has really shown me that Ebay buying is safe.

Make sure that is has a clean ESN. This phone is thin and light. You can't even feel it in your pocket. The smallest phone that nextel makes.

This phone is exactly what the average cell phone user needs without a camera. Personally, since I am a freelance photographer, I don't believe in purchasing a cell phone with a camera. I'll leave the picture taking to my photographic equipment. However, this phone still has everything you need in a cell phone without the things you don't. I especially like the "durable" outer cover and the tactile feel to the keyboard. Also, everything on the phone is easy to see when illuminated. And last but not least, the bluetooth works flawlessly and was easy to setup. Overall, great phone, lightweight, easy to handle, small (but not too small for my large hands).

I love my phone and I loved the way that it was shipped it was fast fun and very easy !!! I WILL shop here again

This a tough but very basic phone if your emphasis is Nextel Direct Connect. It is very easy to use and includes direct connect and easy to set up Bluetooth. The speaker is loud and the call quality is great. Looks durable but buttons don't offer a lot of tactile feedback but they may work best with blue collar glove wearing types.

This was a replacement for an identical Nextel phone that went completely dead. I had purchased it new. Theis 'slightly used' phone works at least as well as the original, and cost about one third as much. I still like the i-335 because of the MilSpec keypad and thin profile, along with its other features. Nextel's coverage geography falls short sometimes, but I'm staying with them anyway as it's not a business phone and doesn't really affect me.

Good phone not bad condition expecally becuase it can be a pricey phone

The phone i bought didnt work. It wouldnt ever pick up service. I called boost and they did troubleshooting and a master reset. but nothing would make the phone pick up service. They said it had a defect. So im going to send it back where i got it. I hope i get a refund. The only reason i bought it was bc i thought it worked but it didnt. This is the first bad experience i've had with something from ebay!!!!

I bought this phone because I wanted a durable rugged phone for the Boost Mobile network. It has all the great stadard features of newer modern phones, like bluetooth & text messaging; with the ruggedness of the older Nextels like the i530. The phone was priced way below retail, in brand new condition. I loved the price, features, & durability this handset offers. It's great for those looking for an inexpensive, durable phone that does the basics!

My husband surprised me with the Motorola I335 phone...even though I didn't want a new phone, he got it for me anyway. I have been pretty surprised with the I335 because it's like new. The display is beautiful, it's clean, light and the phone stays charged for a long time (according to my husband).

I like that I am able to do web searches as well as text (even though I don't), and it's big enough that it doesn't get lost in my huge mommy purse, but small enough not to look out dated.

My son who is rough with phones, loves the phone. The only problem is the battery that came with the phone, doesn't keep a charge for a decent amount of time, but I have since ordered him a brand new battery to replace the one that is not holding a charge.

Its aiiigh if you need a phone real quick. I like that the button lights are red. Looks nice @ night. Its ok. I just needed a cheap phone fast. Not bad for a cheap boost phone.
