Motorola E815 (Verizon Wireless)

What I Dislike:

- Speaker phone quality is really poor. I can hear the other party, but they usually have trouble understanding what I'm saying. If you plan on using speaker phone in your car, forget about it. I've used speaker phones from Samsung and LG, and it's tremendously better.

- No mode for Vibrate & Ring at the same time

- If you set an alarm while the phone is in Vibrate mode, it'll still sound off when the alarm goes off. I'd expect that the phone would vibrate and not ring.

- Unable to add multiple numbers for 1 contact in 1 entry. For example, if John has a home phone, mobile phone, and work phone numbers, I have 3 John entries in my contact list.

- Unable to sort through contacts past the first letter of the name. For example, if I want to jump to my contact John, I cannot type "J" "O"... I can only type "J" then scroll all the way down to John.

- My calendar reminders will not go off 20% of the time. I have to power off/power on my phone, then all my reminders that did not go off will sound all at once.

- Cannot mute an alarm or calendar reminder when the phone is closed.

- While a call is in session, it doesn't show the call timer (talk time elapsed)

- Vibrate mode is very weak. I miss 40% of my calls when it's in my pocket.

- Antennae protrudes from the phone and makes the entire phone very bulky. There are a lot smaller phones that do a lot more.


What I like:

- There's a flash function for the camera
- 60 available entries in the recent calls folder
- Good quality for the phone at the time of release. Newer phones have better cameras (higher pixels)

motorolla is the only cell phone company i buy because i trust the product and the company. i had another motorolla and it was a great phone, lasted me for two years. this phone is great. easy to use, pretty, and sturdy which is very important for me since i drop my phone a lot. the only thing ive noticed about this phone is the icon for the battery life is very hard to read, but if you go into the menu you can get a better picture of the battery life. the other things about motorolla phones is that they dont have a good battery life, and drain quickly and randomly. one minute my battery life will be at 6 the next at 4. i always charge it every night. but i love this phone and i love motorolla

Phone had alot more scratches on it than I expected due to the description. I would like a better decription the next time when buying from this selller. The picture did not show any of the wear and tear that the phone had. Over all I will more than likley buy from this seller again if I found something I needed. I will do a little more finding out of the condition of the product the next time though.

We purchased a used, but "tested" Motorola E815 cell phone to replace one of the same kind on our Verizon plan. The purchase was not without a bit of drama, in the form of payment. The vender did not, we found, accept PayPal nor were they really equipped to easily facilitate credit-card purchases. There was, therefore, a several-day delay in getting paymet accepted, processed and the cell-phone shipped. When it did arrive we found the ring-volume to be nearly non-existent. As this phone is primarily used for calls "out" we decided to live with it, until we can replace the phone again. Not the best experience on eBay, but (again) one we can live with.

I love the black phone. I had a silver/gray one before, and I like this one more. Love this phone. Hopefully it doesn't break!

This company was great! I received my phone right away after placing my order! Much faster then i had planned. When i called for assistance to help me set up my phone Paul was awsome. He not only helped me set up my phone but walked me through the process on line with my own carrier first before setting me up with actication. This company was kind, speedy and very professional! I would definately do business with them again. In fact my experience was so great that my sister is getting two phones with them as well. Very happy customer!!

Item was defective! It would not even turn on! I can't believe that someone would sell such a shockingly defective product. I think that Ebay has some issues with people selling defective items especially cellphones on this venue. They need to take a good look into this problem. I subsequently tried to buy another Motorola E815 cellphone on Ebay this time a no bid item with a flat fee. This also was defective and needs to be returned.

I was thrilled to find this phone on ebay. In my opinion, these are the best phones Motorola has put out. They get great signal, love the buttons and the old format.

AAA+ reception, easy to read display, easy to navigate menu, has everything, blue tooth, and small memory card slot, light and very pretty display!!!Excellent all around older phone that still has all the new features and only about $30 with house and car chargers.

The entire process was quick and easy, the item was exactly as described, and the seller answered all my questions right away and honest.

I have owned several versions of this same phone. The quality is excellent with above-average reception. And the price has come down tremendously!! I recommend this phone.

Well I bought the phone becuse the one I had was broken. I fell I was mislead by the seller because the picture of the phone on the posting was nothing what the phone I recieved looked like. It was all scratched and banged up. It does work good but just not what I was ecpecting to recieve

With its powerful combination of excellent features and a reasonable price, the Motorola E815 is a real winner. In fact, I liked the Motorola E815 so much that I bought two.

phone activated without any problems but after 2 days I started having software problems and by the 4th day the phone wouldnt work at all. Oh well, live and learn.

I love this phone! My entire family uses them now. Can't beat the reception and camera is pretty decent too!

I like the feel of the cell.the weight.the new touch screen cells & the smaller modles are too small for my hands.

Good phone, text messaging use is different than more modern phones. Takes some getting used to. Has picture and video capabilities. Graphics look a little outdated. Easy to use dial pad. This phone has great reception
