Motorola E815 (Verizon Wireless)

What I Dislike:

- Speaker phone quality is really poor. I can hear the other party, but they usually have trouble understanding what I'm saying. If you plan on using speaker phone in your car, forget about it. I've used speaker phones from Samsung and LG, and it's tremendously better.

- No mode for Vibrate & Ring at the same time

- If you set an alarm while the phone is in Vibrate mode, it'll still sound off when the alarm goes off. I'd expect that the phone would vibrate and not ring.

- Unable to add multiple numbers for 1 contact in 1 entry. For example, if John has a home phone, mobile phone, and work phone numbers, I have 3 John entries in my contact list.

- Unable to sort through contacts past the first letter of the name. For example, if I want to jump to my contact John, I cannot type "J" "O"... I can only type "J" then scroll all the way down to John.

- My calendar reminders will not go off 20% of the time. I have to power off/power on my phone, then all my reminders that did not go off will sound all at once.

- Cannot mute an alarm or calendar reminder when the phone is closed.

- While a call is in session, it doesn't show the call timer (talk time elapsed)

- Vibrate mode is very weak. I miss 40% of my calls when it's in my pocket.

- Antennae protrudes from the phone and makes the entire phone very bulky. There are a lot smaller phones that do a lot more.


What I like:

- There's a flash function for the camera
- 60 available entries in the recent calls folder
- Good quality for the phone at the time of release. Newer phones have better cameras (higher pixels)

I buy several phones a year due to our work environment. Every phone I have purchased from this is just awesome. The support, quality and product are beyond description. I would recommend this to anyone needing a cell phone.

the price was right and the phone works decent, but there were pictures and numbers left on the phone. easy enough to erase, but a little invasion of previous owners privacy.

it worked great but the charging mechanism broke on the phone and now i had to go and buy one at full price. But I did like all the features.

it is just a bit difficult for me to figure out - i lost my LG cell phone and i was looking to purchase another one a bit upgraded but also similar to operate like the one i lost

this guy sold me a stolen or "lost" verizon cell phone belive me stay out of this mess dont buy! It will save you time. The reason i gave him positive feedback is because when i got the phone it was in great condition. I usually dont write reviews but i have decided to do it with this guy.

It was like my old phone that got broken, and i couldnt live with out a replacement much longer- so i bought an identical product at a good cost for my home business and personal use.

This is the best phone I've ever owned. Have bought one for my wife and my son. Very rugged, takes a beating & still works. Nice BIG numbers and also well configured. You don't have to worry about hitting the wrong one. I have 3 other company phones that will be replaced by E815s as they wear out.

i had this phone before and got rid of it to purchse a razor(junk)then a blackberry and a samsung this by far has the best reception and longest battery life so i purchased another

This is an awesome phone I own 2 and would buy another one any day a real nice all around phone, great signal, graphics and an mp3 player very user friendly!!!

This phone has the best reception I have ever had. I have used 8 phones over the years. It is easy to use and actually has a couple of ringtones that sound like a phone. Battery life seems to be fine.
I don't like the battery charger connection. It is the old motorola connector and is unnecessarily difficult to use. But other than that I love the phone.

Very sturdy phone with lots of features. Recommended by my verizon sales guys. Big screen with beautifully vivid colors. My 12 yr old son is very pleased with it.

This is my second one. I have had my original for about two years. Since I bought it, I have submerged it in water several times (one of which I actually lost it in the river turned on while tubing for a few minutes) and it always works faithfully afterwards. I have dropped it hundreds of times (even from a moving motorcycle lol) and it still worked. I even broke it in half once when I fell rollerblading and except for the new cable I had to put in it everything else was fine. I have never been anywhere that I couldn't get reception (even in Beaver Creak, Utah over 9,000 feet up in the mountains on an ATV). I have to say I love this phone and aside from a few trivial perks I have nothing negative to say about it (motorola low battery beep and multiple entries for one person to have more than one number).

I like this phone because it is easy to use,and it has what I need, maybe more as verizon doesn't allow vcast here, I don't know how to use the flash card, I can't find anywhere to download it. I bought it because I have yet to find a cell phone that I liked, and this one is a good choice

Good phone that was as said in the description, had many add-ons that i didn't even expect, overall things were real good... Would do business with again in the future...
