Motorola Deluxe Ic902 (Sprint Nextel)

This phone is simply awesome anyone who has another network and always wanted to get out of a stupid contract or get nextel for the walkie talkie service its simply great. i get service everywhere and it works crystal clear with my plan and everything i pay 54 a month and i have not been happier with a cell phone
this phone by far is highly recommended by me. i think its one of the best phones out there if your not a chick and and dont want a bright red phone or something like that if you want a cell phone for a cell phone meaning if you are looking for the phone that always has service the battery runs for a long time and works great everywhere and has a great contract use this phone\!

IC902 is the best phone in the market with nextel because it works on CDMA & Iden Network. Sprint TV enabled it's like watching tv on your handset which is the best thing because if your on the road or something you can easily watch the news. I didn't buy any I have sold these. Walkie-Talkie feature works with nextel network and to call somebody It works on sprint network. Direct Talk feature is pretty good too because Direct Talk feature is using the walkie-talkie feature for free up to 6 miles that has a similar model phone. Internet is just like broadband internet pretty fast.

This phone has many nice features. However, for some reason the phone likes to freeze up a lot! Sometimes, if you text too fast or want to watch tv, it will freeze so bad that you have to restart the phone back over. I already had to send back my first phone to the seller becausea software problem made it restart itself over and over again. So this is actually my second phone. Overall, nice phone
but it should still be Beta because of so many phone software issues.

Although the IC902 is not one of the hip or trendy phones out today, this phone has plenty of features, besides you dont have much choice when you need the Hybrid. I believe that Sprint/Nextel have new services for those who use the Nextel walkie talkie but still want the Sprint phone network. Live TV, web acess, mp3,and much more. It was easy to activate and user friendly. Battery life is at around 2 days or so with normal use, including some television. On the down side, you cant just put in your old sim card and start using the phone. After talking with representatives and using a new sim card, the phone was in service. The mp3 section sounds good but the supplied headphones could be better, you cant use just any headphones due to the Push to Talk feature.

This phone is sleek, button push flip, great 2.0mp cammera. plus the hibred nextel has great sevice. But the battery life is poor. I had mine less than a year and I have problems with is shuting off all the time. Its a good phone if you don't mind having to restart it every 10 min.

The recently discontinued (by Sprint Nextel) Motorola Deluxe Ic902 Hybrid Powersource Camera Phone with MP3 and Bluetooth is an excellent device. If you need use of the iden Nextel PTT (Push To Talk) Walkie Talkie Network this phone is the way to go, and why would you use any other carrier for PTT at this time, everyone uses Nextel, and rightly so, they were the first and are still the best. The Ic902 has an terrific spectrum of features. The walkie talkie is the primary draw, and it is as quick and reliable as any Motorola Nextel (Unfortunately Sprint has discontinued the Ic902 following the Ic402 and certainly soon to follow will be the Ic502, neither of which holds a candle to the Ic902. This will bring a close to the Powersource Hybrid line, the replacement will be Sprint phones which will use software to utilize the iden network for PTT. I'm afraid this will be potentially problematic for walkie talkie Nextel PTT users who want a phone with the features of the Sprint network's voice and data capabilities.) The 2.0 Megapixel camera on the Ic902 takes beautiful still photos, and decent video. And with available external storage up to at least 2 Gigabytes of data via the SD Micro slot you can store plenty of pictures, video, music, voice records, and more. The MP3 Player isn't perfect, but with the external controls and built in stereo speakers it's decent. The bluetooth capability can come in handy for talking, but it lacks the ability to stream music, you must use conventional headphones to privately listen to your songs. There are many other nominal features, to be expected. Sprint TV with live NFL Network games for no additional charge (if you have the $99.99 all inclusive plan) is something to look forward to on the crisp high resolution internal display. It's a great phone, get one while you can.

Seller will not honor offer. Has bad ESN for Motorola ic902. Attempted to give me a strike, Ebay saw it my way. I made an offer with the condition that the seller send a clear ESN. He 1st refused to send the ESN then sent one that did not belong to the phone he purported it to be ic902. Ebay investigated removed my strike. Beware piss poor ebayer.

I purchased this phone because I wanted to upgrade to a phone with a camera, and I currently had a Sprint/Nextel Hybrid phone, but it didn't support these features. Well I know they may be a little pricy, but I'm getting my money worth. I love the camera / picture features on this phone above those of phone I've used prior to. Oh and the MP is amazing, I actually use it when I go walking, very convenient, because I never go anywheres without my phone.

This product was bought used, even knowing that there was no warranty i took the chance and found that the phone haves intermitent problem( sudenly shuts down)

I can't give you a great review about the functionality, because the guy I got this one from sent me a defective phone and my worst ebay experience even ensued and it was a nightmare getting my money back. However, it appeared very plasticy and cheap from most angles. Note though I am used to heavy duty phones like the ic502 because I'm rough on stuff, so it may be fine for you if you're not.

This has to be the worst phone that Motorola manufactures. The worst 'feature' it has is the side buttons on the flip door. When in the closed position, they enable the camera or MP3 player. If you move wrong, one or the other comes on, draining your battery. The outside up/down volume toggle quit working two weeks after the PTT button quit working....and the software is just as bad. It takes 12 keypad inputs to get to your voicemail selection???

I bought the phone from the seller and he owes money and i could never connect the phone tried to collect my money back and he was just playing games so i decided to leave negative feedback

The product was not as described. Seller stated, "it had been drop a couple times. The only cosmetic damage was the button that flips opened the phone was missing." The "couple drops" the seller was refering to was from the Empire State Building. The phone was missing the lock that holds the battery cover on and also was missing the rubber gromet for the SD card. I threw the phone away. It was not worth my time to try and contact th eseeler.

I decided to buy it because I thought the seller was honest, but the sim is defective and I can't make it work and they don't sell replacement cards.

the only thing was that there were not enough imfo about the phone I was hoping that I could have use it as a walkie talkie as well.

I really like the hybrid system. The phone is easy to use, the bluetooth is excellent, especially on direct connect. My only gripe is the media player only accepts two file types, if you're tunes are saved as m4p's you're not playing them on this phone. Using it for work has been great though, for a nextel.

I love my new phone. Its great it just doesnt stay charged ver long. Would recommend this phone to anyone.

The Motorola ic902 is the last hybrid phone that is being offered by the new Sprint/Nextel company. According to some employees for the company, there will be no more hybrids released, only sprint or nextel phones, not a combination of both. Although nextel has some very dated looking phones, the ic902 is at least reliable, where nextel only phones lacked connection. I bought this phone after my disappointing purchase of a Blackberry 8350i which uses IDEN (nextel) phone services.

This is a true work horse of a phone. It's very reliable and problem free. I would recommend buying the extended battery to really get the most out this phone. I'm glad that I found it and got a great deal on it.

The dive didnot regestier with the network & had more comestic damage than stated in the descripton. Also I had to pay to have the phone replaced. This should not be, if someone is selling an item on ebay, they need to make sure they give accurate information, that could cause problems for ebay.

Our company uses the Sprint Ic902 Hybrid Phones. A recent phone accident covered under Sprint monthly insurance plan ($7.00/Mo.) was destroyed. Surprisingly, Sprint no longer carries this phone and the insurance company we relied on insuring the phone through Sprint was out of stock on replacements. This left us desperate as business communication is extremely important. We immediately purchased (on Ebay) a couple more Ic902 to replace the one destroyed now until the insurance came through and to stock a spare future replacement. The insurance did come through eventually so now we have a couple replacements and no longer rely on (or pay for) "insurance" saving us the $7.00/mo (per phone). To top it off we are also free of the insurance $50.00 deductible imposed when a replacement is needed. These phone purchases paid for them selves quickly plus we gained peace of mind should a future phone be needed.
