Grief is a heavy burden to carry alone ...
Review created: 04/26/09

One never knows what to do/say after someone has lost a child. As Christians, we believe that God's divine plan is NEVER wrong [which it isn't - we simply cannot see/fathom how in the world this hurt/pain could be from a loving God who gave His son to die on Calvary for us] ... but how many times does someone hurting so badly in their loss do they/we even for 3 seconds say [inwardly or outwardly]: "WHY God? WHY now?? WHY this baby?? WHAT did I do to cause this?? WHAT did I not do that I should have to prevent this?? [Psalms 120:1 "In my distress I cried unto the Lord and He heard me]. And when the hurting person asks you these questions [and especially someone who has not lost a child], how do you answer the quesions without sounding like you are using "recycled words", platitudes or just sounding like a total doofus because you are hurting for the mother/father-that-was-to-be but just can't seem to find the right words? I believe this book will not only help the grieving to-be parents but anyone else who is hurting from the loss of the wee one who was called back to Heaven. IICorinthians 1:3,4 "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort: Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God." Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Healing takes time, patience, love and understanding when/what you don't understand consciously but please know time does heal all wounds and will answer those seemingly unanswerable questions. I give to you the following: John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
God bless.
