Mother Goose (1997, Hardcover)

I purchased this book because I already owned a copy that my mother would read to me as a child (I am 19 years old) and its pages were torn and affectionately drawn on by myself and my sisters. She said she had severals of these Mother Goose books and we had always enjoyed this book most. I remember always loving the pictures, and when I purchased this copy I was glad to revisit those rich and beautiful illustrations. I hope to keep this purchase in good condition for when I have my own children so that they have a chance to enjoy this book as much as I did as a kid. I would recommend buying two copies if you'd like to have one to use for reading to your child and another so that it's not an issue if they tear the pages where the rhymes are on the pages when they want to get a hands on look at the illustrations. =)
