Mosby's Medical Terminology Memory Notecards by C.J. Miller, Joann Zerwekh, Tom Gaglione (2007, Paperback, Spiral)

This is a great tool to carry with you anywhere for anytime review. The material is specific and easy to understand. Graphics are fun and memorable. If you are a visual learner, get this book and carry it with you. Repeated visual graphical reviews have helped carve impossible hard to remember details into my brain. Look at it while waiting for your table at the restaurant, while on the bus, while sitting at the boring sports stadium, or anytime there is 5 or 10 minutes to spare. It gives you a fresh look at the text reading materials, therefore enhancing your understanding. It also condenses wordy nonsense into short, need to know concepts you need for your tests and your clinical skills.
The only thing I have to complain about this tool is that it does not have a section for nurses and/or medical personels, therefore it does not help with all the abbreviations for drug dosages such as qd, qid, q2h etc....It basically gives you a way to make sense of what is officially in the dictionary, but not professional notations you can't find in the dictionary.
