Amy Grant, Up Close and Personal

In October of this year, I actually attended "An Evening With Amy Grant" at Bass Hall in Fort Worth, Texas - a question and answer session with Amy and the audience regarding her book, "Mosaic, Pieces of My Life So Far". She also sang at the event, such a treat to hear her perform, it's been many years since I first saw her in concert.
I loved Amy's candor, so sincere, so real, great sense of humor - a beautiful person, inside and out.
The book has a randomness to it; it's like she is thinking out loud, what her thoughts are at that moment. You get a snippet of the people in her life. She doesn't go into detail regarding her divorce to Gary Chapman (but there is a time you sense the pain and sorrow) or her marriage to Vince Gill.
"Mosaic" includes never before published lyrics to new songs along with some of her older tunes. There are pictures past and present, a timeline of events and awards and special achievements (Grammy Awards/Nominations, Dove Awards), and a discography.
As you read this book, you'll see Amy Grant for who she is, where her heart is, and what's important to her.
What a blessing.
