Mortal Kombat (DVD, 1997)

Mortal Kombat - What a disappointment. After all the video games, how in the world could you have a movie without any blood? The story was OK, but this is a kids movie.

In terms of video game movies, it was much better than Doom and Bloodrayne. It was on the same level as Resident Evil, but not as good as Silent Hill.

What More Can You Look For In A Martial Art Movie?

It's great to see a movie from a computer game that you played on your old pc or in a arcade hall, but with so mutch detail, perfection etc. thats just amazing.

On top off all ''the highlander'' plays ''Rayden''.

Sonya looking hot as she supposed to be, and perfect animation for Goro.

The Background music is also cool.

Definately 5 out of 5 in my book.

This is one of my favorite movies and I think it is the best video game to be recreated on film ever. The acting is excellent, the soundtrack is awesome (probably one of the best soundtracks, if not, the best soundtrack ever made), cool special effects, and awesome costume designs. You must see this movie because it is in fact the best video game movie ever created!!!!!

I bought this movie from half.com, because it's affiliated with ebay first off. I trust ebay, and it's where I make a lot of buys. Second because the prices are great, even though some times I would rather have to just buy now rather then having to auction off for a low price. Like, there should be some kind'a ebay store that had nothing but like 25% or some kind'a precentage off on prices. And the main reason why I purchased this product was because I like the movie, I watched it when I was a kid and thought hey, it would be cool to own it for my own collection.

mortal kombat is really good but some stores give it 2 stars that stinks they dont know how to rate movies.on amazon it was 4 in a half stars and at best buy it was 2 stars man that dissapoints me sadly.I bet the sequel was not that bad either they just make things up.So you wont buy it.

The fighting scenes in this are amoung the best of its time. Stick with this one and avoid the second. The storyline flows pretty well, although it isn't totally in line with the game. Sonya is probably the worst character, but the ninja's and the fighting scenes - minus Sonya's - are great.

this movie is awsome!, i strongly recomend it to any one, which is more than i can say for its younger brother mortal kombat annihilation, but thats another story. bye this flick, its good. the only problem i got is that it not released in australia yet but oh well, thats all from me buy it, its good.

well, back in the day when it 1st came out, it was really popular. and of course i was a big fan, so i bought it 4 vhs. so lol many years latr i havent seen it. so just a few days ago i desided i wanted it in my collection again. so here i am buying the movie. as far as the movie goes, its pretty descent. you can just 4get bout the others after,they were just terrible lol. just mortal kombat 1 was the best.

It's a lot of action and great for kids and adults. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and the characters are very well played.

I liked this movie because I love the game so I said to myself why not. I decided to get this because I wanted to get something from my past back like you had something from your childhood that you lost or got stolen from you by your older sister or brother,, got ruined somehow, something like that. However it doesn't compare to movies and special affects in other movies that have been released, like spider man, pirates of the caribbean, those types of movies.

The movie itself is by far is probably the best your gonna get for a MK video game adaptation. The dvd could use some work. The 5.1 dolby digital track was great, but the video needed an anamorphic treatment and a restoration process. But, the movie was only 4.98, so, not much to expect. I think there is a re-release with an anamorphic picture floating around, but good luck trying to find anything about it on the internet.

i searched for this and was very glad to find it . exactly what it is about i don't know. got it for my grandsons . their parents said it was appropiate for them . also said they watch it over and over . along with it's secquel which i also found and bought for them on ebay .

I love Mortal Kombat since I was a kid and I still love Mortal Kombat to this day. I decided to buy Mortal Kombat the movie because it's amovie that you would watch over and over again!
