ONE OF THE BEST!!!!!

Good: Every character; Fantastic gameplay; All of the Bosses
Bad: Long load times; The sound can be a little off; Missing some Backgrounds
Let me tell you, this game rocks. Before I got this game, I had only played the N64 version. But when I put this game in the PS2, I was blown away.
First off, it has every character in the series, it even has some classic versions of the characters. But, I only wish there were a few more of the classics, like MK1 Scorpion and Sub-Zero for example. It also has all of the backgrounds from MK 1, 2, and 3, but it's missing some of the MK1 levels: The Courtyard, Warrior Shrine, Palace Gates, and The Throne Room. But all the levels are a nice touch. The gameplay is near perfect. You can even switch off the combos and play in classic MK style.
I also like the Brutalites. I even know one by heart now. I don't really like the Animalities, though. While I like some of them, most of them are too cheesy, like Scorpion's. He turns into a penguin and craps a bomb. Anyway, I love the bosses. In fact, Shao Kahn was the first character I played as. The sound is really well-done, but some of the effects are missing. For example, when you pick Goro, the announcer doesn't say his name, And, when the round is over, it doesn't do the whole ending sound thing, and the announcer doesn't say at the beggining, "Round One" and all that. But the biggest downside, is basically the load times, but that's not too mayjor to complain about.
Overall, Mk Trilogy is bar none, one of the best in the series. And if you're new to the MK scene, i definitly suggest you give this one a try.
