Mortal Kombat: Deception Premium Pack (PlayStation 2, 2004)

for any mortal kombat lover this is the game to have.i am impressed with every aspect of this game.it has something for everyone.the tetris like game is cool.if your a chess fan you battle for squares which by the way is an awesome concept.rpg mode to unlock hide aspect of the game.for all you role playing game lovers.they really out did them selves.i personally own 2 premium packs.1 for play and 1 sealed because i believe this will be a collectors item 1 day or sell like the final fantasy games on ebay now.so i goin to buy alot of them soon.also rumor has it when PS3 comes out.the mortal kombat game will keep track of real time.once sub-zero is killed in the game.he will be automaticly erased and you and they will never use the character again.so get this pack because you also get the original mortal kombat too.so 5games in 1.that a sweet deal if you ask me.well this is my 1st reveiw look for more to come.keep it real!

Mortal Kombat Deception has it all fighting, konquest mode, puzzle fighter, and kombat chess. First the fighting engine is much tighter than other MKs with 3D gameplay being fine tuned this go around ,multi tiered stages, all new fatalities for each person, a suicide move (Hairi Kiri), and a better parry system. In konquest mode you play one of the new characters named shujinko through his journey to becomt the elder gods champion of mortal kombat, but along the way he gets deceived into bringing a powerful and evil ruler back to power hence the title deception. Puzzle fighter is sort of a knock off of the street fighter puzzle fighter only this time it has a sadistic twist on things allowing fatalities to be done. Chess kombat takes chess to a level where every MK fan will enjoy the game whether they play or not allowing kombat on a chess board. The premium pack also comes with a history of MK, demo of area 51, interactive trading cards, and MK1. For any collector of the series this is a must have. Also this is the very first time you can play online against anyone with an internet connection for worldwide play to recapture the feel of the arcade without hunting for quarters. I have already had this game but the original version.but this is such a great game that I wanted to get the preimum edition.and it was incredable!

This game is awesome and was a real step forward for Midway. Gameplay is that of Deadly alliance, with a few varioatioons on Special moves, and a combo breaking system. Konquest is very expansive, butit takes too long to 100% the game. PUzzle Games against the computer are pretty difficult so the game loses points in the difficulty curve separtment. Kombat Arcade isfun and the bonus disc is fun for reliving all those wasted quarters. the special edition cover is full of mistakes the name moloch in sub-zero's foes list is seplled "mokoch". Also, his bio stats such as fallies and foes are Scorpions not Sub-Zeros's this was a ver annoying mistae that took alot away from the presentation of the game. But it is Forgivable. Still annoys me though.

The premium pack got mortal kombat one and it's so perfect cause I remember when mortal kombat one on snes and it had good graphics but some not right fatalty and it had no blood so you had to use game genie and turn sweat to red but this game so perfect.
