Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts (2006)

Although this is a different genre for Nora Roberts she's done a good job with it. Yes, it does follow expected vampire patterns, but that's part of what makes it good. We all know vampires don't have reflections, can't be out in the sun and are killed with a wooden stake. If you strayed from the accepted "rules" it wouldn't be as good. Now with that said, there's lots of vampire action in this book, a couple unexpected twists and some humor as well as the expected romance. With vampires, half vamps, a shape shifter, a sorcerer and a witch as well as a beings from another world it made for a very entertaining read. A definite great start for the new Circle trilogy!

It was referred by a friend. I usually don't read this particular genre, but I enjoyed it enough to complete the series of three. All in all found it to be entertaining.

I love this Nora Roberts paranormal series. Ranks right up there with her "Key" trilogy. I had loaned out the first never to see it again and needed it to shre with my daughter. This is a great read!

I love the story line. It pulls you in so much, that you definitely want to read the second and third book to the series. I decided to buy the book to complete my set. I have almost everyone of Nora Roberts books. Excellent writer. I would recommend this book and any others by Nora Roberts.

Nora Roberts is a great author. She did an outstanding job in this book. I had the third title in the series so I purchased the first two and I am so glad I did. Her description of every detail makes you feel as if you are actually in the book. I couldn't put the book down once I opened it.

Great book for some down time. Good adventure just enough romance. I love vampire stories plus the added bonus of three books so when I finished one I still continue the story.

This books grabs your attention first thing! Though it is set in the 12th century in the begining! This is the first thing I liked about it, the character introductions started off great! And it didn't stop there! It has kept my attention to the point that I try to stay awake to keep reading while my eyes are closing(lol. This great book has everything (shifter, vampires, witch, etc). Trust me, you don't want to miss this one!!

i loved this first book in tri-series. i have always been a fan of nora roberts and have enjoyed many of her books but i loved the vampire,witch,sorcerer and demon hunter. a circle brought together to fight evil and love. this is a good read

If you like anything Celtic or having to do with fantasy, you'll like this book. The book is basically about a sorcerer who travels ahead in time to avenge the "death" of his brother. His brother was turned into a vampire by a vampire named Lilith. The story involves the sorcerer joining with 5 others who prepare to conquer Lilith (or at least survive!)

I rarely have time to read but this book kept my attention and I looked forward to reading it! I can't wait to read the remaining books in the Circle Trilogy.

Nora Roberts at her best! This series is a must-read! Nora's oh-so-fertile imagination takes us to the past with sorcerers and shape-shifters and other fascinating characters. The three book series leaves you wanting more!

This was a good book and a good trilogy. It wasn't one of Nora Robert's best though. It was a dark story and at some points hard to get into. I enjoyed it, others may enjoy it more. It just seemed like a lot of negativity in the writing.

I loved these books. With most of Nora Roberts Series I have to take a break between books because they seem to drag on. Not this series. It was top of the line I couldnt wait until I got to the next one! I highly recommend this series! The last book in the trilogy was by far the best to. So each one out did the last.

I have been a Nora Roberts reader for years, and i was going thru ebay for books and their it was and i didnt have to go out to get it. With the cost of the book and the shipping it was cheaper to go thru ebay to get it. I never have had a problem getting my stuff from sellers they are quick,great communication, fast shipping i do all my shopping on ebay you get wonderful deals on new and used and they are to good to pass up this book was in excellent shape when i got it, it look brand new i couldnt complain about that and didnt have to fight a crowd to get it. I havent had any problems finding Nora Roberts books on ebay but you cant find them in a store.

I loved the trilogy! It was fun to read, and although I wasn't excited about the vampire theme in the beginning, it really was a great trilogy! A must read!

I really enjoyed it. Will definitely buy all three. I enjoy the "Anita Blake" series, by Laurell Hamilton. too. Nora has a lighter touch. I like to read abot the various supernatural beings and their powers and weaknesses. It's fun.

I could not put this book down, Nora Roberts is a captivating writer, I can't wait for the rest of this trilogy to come out.
