Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts (2006, Paperback)

Although this is a different genre for Nora Roberts she's done a good job with it. Yes, it does follow expected vampire patterns, but that's part of what makes it good. We all know vampires don't have reflections, can't be out in the sun and are killed with a wooden stake. If you strayed from the accepted "rules" it wouldn't be as good. Now with that said, there's lots of vampire action in this book, a couple unexpected twists and some humor as well as the expected romance. With vampires, half vamps, a shape shifter, a sorcerer and a witch as well as a beings from another world it made for a very entertaining read. A definite great start for the new Circle trilogy!

I've loved Nora Roberts' books for years. This one is different but without the rest of the trilogy it is incomplete. I did love the play of characters yes the Vampire work has been done before and better by other authors(see Katie Mcalister) but no one can create worlds like Nora and this for me was excellent. I saw many aspects of popular culture in this book i.e. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel (tortured vampire), Magic and mysticism it gave me an escape from my vanilla life and that's what I use books for. It gave me a new view into someone's imagination Ms. Roberts always inspires me with her work and this is no exception I look forward to reading the rest of the trilogy.

I loved the trilogy! It was fun to read, and although I wasn't excited about the vampire theme in the beginning, it really was a great trilogy! A must read!

I really enjoyed it. Will definitely buy all three. I enjoy the "Anita Blake" series, by Laurell Hamilton. too. Nora has a lighter touch. I like to read abot the various supernatural beings and their powers and weaknesses. It's fun.

I could not put this book down, Nora Roberts is a captivating writer, I can't wait for the rest of this trilogy to come out.

This series combines romance and fantasy perfectly. The union of the paranormal and reality is charming and entertaining and makes for a wonderful reading experience. If you get this book you will want to follow up with the other two in the series.

I just recently started reading some of Nora Roberts series. I had read some of her books in the past and did not particularly care for her storylines. However, when I started reading some of the series books, then I decided I liked some. I do like this story because it has paranormal creatures, romance, and a good story behind it.

Books were purchased for my mini-library of books to have handy to read and I was very impressed with the professional communication of the seller, despite having previous 'buyer' problems. It is refreshing to find a seller who understands that in order to get positive feedback for your sale; you need to give it when you get paid promptly and do not have to send reminders and etc. I am very impressed and will use this seller again. I have also experienced a "bad" seller who would not take a return and when I filed a complaint with PayPal and left appropriate negative feedback, their heart was so big they wanted a negative removed or made as a "neither positive or negative". That defeated eBay's system; so am glad system has been revised and from now on, I DO NOT LEAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK ON A PURCHASE UNTIL I RECEIVE IT. It was referred by a friend. I usually don't read this particular genre, but I enjoyed it enough to complete the series of three. All in all found it to be entertaining.

I love this Nora Roberts paranormal series. Ranks right up there with her "Key" trilogy. I had loaned out the first never to see it again and needed it to shre with my daughter. This is a great read!

I love the story line. It pulls you in so much, that you definitely want to read the second and third book to the series. I decided to buy the book to complete my set. I have almost everyone of Nora Roberts books. Excellent writer. I would recommend this book and any others by Nora Roberts.

Nora Roberts is a great author. She did an outstanding job in this book. I had the third title in the series so I purchased the first two and I am so glad I did. Her description of every detail makes you feel as if you are actually in the book. I couldn't put the book down once I opened it.

Great book for some down time. Good adventure just enough romance. I love vampire stories plus the added bonus of three books so when I finished one I still continue the story.

This books grabs your attention first thing! Though it is set in the 12th century in the begining! This is the first thing I liked about it, the character introductions started off great! And it didn't stop there! It has kept my attention to the point that I try to stay awake to keep reading while my eyes are closing(lol. This great book has everything (shifter, vampires, witch, etc). Trust me, you don't want to miss this one!!

i loved this first book in tri-series. i have always been a fan of nora roberts and have enjoyed many of her books but i loved the vampire,witch,sorcerer and demon hunter. a circle brought together to fight evil and love. this is a good read

If you like anything Celtic or having to do with fantasy, you'll like this book. The book is basically about a sorcerer who travels ahead in time to avenge the "death" of his brother. His brother was turned into a vampire by a vampire named Lilith. The story involves the sorcerer joining with 5 others who prepare to conquer Lilith (or at least survive!)

I rarely have time to read but this book kept my attention and I looked forward to reading it! I can't wait to read the remaining books in the Circle Trilogy.

I loved these books. With most of Nora Roberts Series I have to take a break between books because they seem to drag on. Not this series. It was top of the line I couldnt wait until I got to the next one! I highly recommend this series! The last book in the trilogy was by far the best to. So each one out did the last.

I have been a Nora Roberts reader for years, and i was going thru ebay for books and their it was and i didnt have to go out to get it. With the cost of the book and the shipping it was cheaper to go thru ebay to get it. I never have had a problem getting my stuff from sellers they are quick,great communication, fast shipping i do all my shopping on ebay you get wonderful deals on new and used and they are to good to pass up this book was in excellent shape when i got it, it look brand new i couldnt complain about that and didnt have to fight a crowd to get it. I havent had any problems finding Nora Roberts books on ebay but you cant find them in a store.

I have been looking for this book for what seems like forever. Finally, I decided to try eBay. I was very glad I did. I have the other two books of the Trilogy set. Have been waiting til I found the 1st to start reading. I am an avid reader of Nora Roberts. The book is in nearly new condition.

The books were just as described. Used, but in good condition. Shipped on time quickly after payment was received. Would recommend to do business again. Lot cheaper than Amazon.
