More Fabric Savvy by Sandra Betzina (2004, Hardcover, Revised)

I love this book! I checked it out at the local library before realizing I just needed to get myself one. I use it to research different clothing fabrics for descriptions of clothing, but it's also an excellent resource for sewers as it details how to use each fabric, how to prepare it for sewing, which fabrics to use for different garments and other cloth pieces. I love the excellent photos of each fabric and the initial blurbs simply describing the fabric, what each fabric's pros & cons are, etc. I do wish the initial blurb was a little more consistant -- some don't really help me describe a fabric. The glossary is great and goes beyond the fabrics outlined in the book. This book also talks about stain removal tips, different kinds of linings, seams, hems, etc. To me, this seems like Sewing 101 in a book!
