Moonlighting - Seasons 1 & 2 (DVD, 2005, 6-Disc Set)

It's fun to watch one who was then a budding star, Bruce Willis, steal he show each and every episode of "Moonlighting". My husband and I watched every single episode of this with breathless anticipation, when it first aired in the 1980's. I bought this as a surprise for my husband, and we use this for fun on Friday evenings with a special dinner at home, and time to remember. I highly recommend this, and the series survives the test of time.

We loved it the first time around. Great interaction and tension between cybil and bruce. The early episodes were the best but all them were cutting edge in their day for prime time tv. It is like going back in the history of our family. The supporting cast are the definition of quirky.

I'm a huge fan of old TV shows and I particularly like the sexual tension that goes on between Cybil Shephard's, Maddie Hayes and Bruce Willis' Addison in Moonlighting. I wanted to purchase it ever since it came out but the price was never right until now. I'm exremely happy with my purchasenand I have no regrets what-so-ever!

I ordered this and one other item from the same seller over a month ago. I have not received it still, have contacted the seller twice with no response back, and now will file a claim with American Express.

Moonlighting, as Bruce Willis' debut is a must-have for any fans. For those who think of him as mainly an action star, it is an eye-opener to see his original talent for romantic comedy. The interaction between David Addison and Maddie is real magic, and made for one of the best TV comedy/drama series on the air. Willis pulled off creating a character that was very likeable and smooth, a perfect balance to Cybil's rigid and uptight Maddy Hayes. If you get a chance to see Moonlighting, it is well worth the purchase price!

I decided to purchase Moonlighting to try to recapture the magic of the program. It was such a pleasure when it aired in the 80s! Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis were wonderful together and the writing was so sophisticated. Buying this DVD was a walk through my memories.

Plots weak, fashion good. Nothing offensive, lightheated. It aired at a time when some standards yet remained. Adult in nature but not over the line.

Was my wife's and my favorite show. We now have all the episodes,to enjoy whenever we want. We always liked Bruce Willis. A friend of mine was his room mate at montclair st college, and we met him at the house of blues on myrtle beach sc he has a band and we went to the show.the acting is great, it's funny great comedy.

I always liked this show and never thought it received the acclaim it was due when it aired. Truly some groundbreaking stuff.

This epiosodes are not very know from the public. I found them very interesting and with very good film production. Recomend it. The two seasons are a complement each of the other.

Enjoyed the show back in the 80's and still enjoy it today. If you are a Bruce Willis fan this is where he still had hair. Liked the humor and the playing off one another between Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepherd. A very enjoyable series to watch.

What can I say you talk to a computer on the subject but only get generic replies that don't tell you anything but thanks for your purchase we'll get back to you if we need something. When I have something I can report on it better. Maybe when the computer is generically set up to say sorry didn't really get your Email just threw it in the trash because I don't have time for you.

I loved this show when it was on TV and always missed it so much. I have enjoyed every minute of watching the old shows and remembering the good times of life. These actors were one of a kind. Recommended to anyone for their enjoyment and laughter.

Moonlighting was one of the shows I looked forward to watching every week back in the 1980s. I liked it for its witty writing & superb acting. I recently bought this DVD and was able to see the pilot episode for the first time. I think that episode had some "filler" to make it last the whole 2 hour slot on TV, but overall it was a very enjoyable episode to learn how the characters met. The episode did a good job setting the stage for a great series. I look forward to watching the remainder of the episodes!
