Doris Day stars in this 1951 film with Gorden MacRae. It's a turn of the century musical set in Indiana, with Doris playing the tomboy nextdoor to MacRae, big man on college campus. She catches his eye with a little make-over and the two wholesome kids become a couple, much to her father's(Leon Ames) disapproval. Rosemary DeCamp is her mother, Billy Gray her brother and the always funny, Mary Wicks is the housekeeper/cook. No dramatic acting, just a good clean movie with some laughs.
