Monsters, Inc. (DVD, 2002, 2-Disc Set)

This movie is right along side Shrek and Madagasgar in my film collection. Excellent family film -- great for all ages. Very unique story plot and entertaining the whole movie.

The stars of this movie are Sulley and Mike Wazowski, two monsters whose jobs are to collect screams from children to produce power in their city. The movie portrays many of the monsters as friendly and really more scared of children then children are of them. Therefore, when Boo, a young girl from the human world, gets into their world, it causes total chaos, while Sulley and Mike fall in love with her.
The animation in this movie is wonderful and the character development is great! The plot is interesting and strays away from the common beliefs about monsters, and it may even give kids relief from the typical fear of monsters.
Monsters Inc. is cute and playful! It is a perfect movie for the kids or family, and it can be watched over and over again enjoyably! Don't miss out on buying this movie!

This is such a great movie and perfect for family night. Though it does have "monsters" in it you can see that they are not all bad. Billy Crystal and John Goodman do the voices of the two main characters. They do a great job and add that special something to the characters. There are tons of funny parts and a couple heart wrenching moments. Boo is too cute in this movie! If you haven't had a chance to see it, this really is a must see for you.

I recommend this movie for kid(s) starting from 3 years older. Even though the movie is about Monsters, the movie is very funny from start to end and kid(s) will really like Sulli and Mike (the main monsters) in this movie. It entertains adults too. 2 Disc Collector's Edition is available in DVD format. Perfect DVD with high quality sound and picture. Add it to you collection if you find it.

I thin k this movie is for older kids. My 3 year old got scared on this movie.It waS kinda scarry..I dont recomend for ages younger then5

I went to the movies to watch this KNOWING I wasn't going to like it. I took the kids but I was in a BAD mood. Needless to say, it was JUST FABULOUS and has become one of my favorite movies of all time! It also reminds me not to let my bad mood ruin a good thing....huh, a lesson learned in life from a kid's movie. Can't ask for anything better.

This is why Pixar is the best thing to happen to disney scince the roller coster, I mean really, without Pixar disney would be making more emporoers new Groove and Tarzan Movies... What pixar left Disney... and they have made more emporoers new Groove and Tarzan Movies... Say it aint so, Say it aint so ....

Excellent plot, a great story, not scary, and definitely a movie you can watch with all of your kids. This movie doesn't have any of the usual liberal viewpoints thrown in either. If you have conservative values, and want a wholesome, feel good movie for the whole family, young and old, this is the one!!

I loved this one. perfect for the kids but good for adults as well.It follows a solid theme kids can follow and you'll enjoy watching it too...very well done in the computer graphics...perfect family movie

One of the Few I Don't Replay.... don't really know why, but it doesn't bear replaying as much as other animated movies that we have.

Not that's it bad or anything... but as we sell comics, comic books, cartoons, and comic strip related items, we have a large choice to read or view.

Unfortunately this isn't one of them.
Probably is more of a rental for a one time viewing instead of owning,
at least for us!

This is a great addition to a child's movie library. Monster's Inc. is clever and child friendly. At 30 years old I enjoy watching this movie as much as my kids. The twist in which monsters are afraid of children is wonderful and the ending could not be better. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone.

I loved the movie my kids and I watch it over and over. there are many loveable monsters, and we love boo the best.It teaches kids to overcome their fears, and it shows how kids can be brave, even little ones.

This movie is SO cute and SO funny! I absolutely loved it! I laughed so hard watching it and ended up loving it just as much as the little kids in the movie theatre that were also there to see it! I highly recommend it!

Who doesnt love Monsters? This Classic fairy tale was amazing.. and now on DVD? Whats not to love. Great kids movie. Disney did an amazing job with this and definatly needs to be more of these types of movies.

I consider this Pixar's greatest film. The creative plot is amazing! How they came up with this storyline I can't understand. It is definately original! Lots of great lines and side-splitting humor! Full of very funny monsters. The humor definately isn't just for kids, in fact, many kids won't even catch a lot of the funniest lines. It's a great film for the whole family! If you enjoyed "Toy Story Two" or "Cars," you'll definately love "Monsters, Inc."

3 days after I purchased the movie, the seller was NO LONGER A REGISTERED EBAY USER. I never heard any responce to email to the seller and Paypal couldn't even recover the $6.00 I spent on the movie and shipping. I think we Ebay buyers need more protection too.

This movie is so cute & keeps you laughing until the end. My girls love this movie so much that my youngest started calling herself Boo right after it came out & the name has still stuck to this day. Sull is such a big teddy bear too! Definately a movie the whole family can enjoy!

This movie made me cry a lot and how much my daughter, my husband, and me love it made us all sad and happy. It is a real gr8 movie. We've watched it over a thousand times almost by now. If i couldn't seen this movie, I'd probably not watch any movies with my daughter, but this is a really gr8 movie. It would be nice if they made a Monster Inc. 2 soon. I would probably really love that then. I hope they make a gr8 movie like this again. This is my daughter's # 1 movie. Way to go Disney! I hope to see another one like this again very soon.

I have seen this movie a dozen times, and i still find things that i missed each time. John Goodman and Billy Crystal play such these charcters so well. The is a laugh out loud and cry out loud movie. The is a good movie for any age. Way to go Disney.
