GREAT GAME LOTS OF FUN.THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT BOARDS TO CHOOSE FROM.YOU CAN GO ANY WHERE YOU WANT IN THIS GAME<(during racing mode you still must go thru check points to keep time on the clock)> THAT INCLUDES OVER OTHER TRUCKS-ANYTHING. MY FAVORITE BOARD IS THE GRAVE YARD~BUT BE CAREFULL, A LOT OF HORSPOWER AND ONE BUMP INTO ANOTHER DRIVER CAN SEND YOU OFF COURSE QUICK,THROUGH HEAVY CEMETERY FENCES OVER TOOMSTONES, SMASHING EVERY THING IN YOUR PATH.

This game was well ahead of its time. It plays, and looks incredibly well for the N64, and its multiplayer gametypes are loads of fun. This game is worth its incredible multiplayer alone.

One of my small obsessions is monster trucks...and I love racing games. I thought that this would be a great game. Was I EVER wrong. There are many choices for game play: different tracks, monster truck 'games' (soccer, hockey, chase), a good selection of trucks...it's just too dang hard to play! It is next to impossible to make a perfect turn at a corner. I found myself putting the truck in a complete stop, and then turning. The truck basically has a mind of it's own. Monster Truck Madness 64 look like a great game. I was at the store and saw it for twenty dollars. I got a great deal. This game is great. It has a great multi player mode, and a good one player mode. There are five different multi player modes on this game. My favorite multi player mode is the Summit Rumble. It is like a king of the hill game. You get to the top of the hill and get points for being there. If you nock someone off you get more points. While racing toward the next check point, I usually flip my monster truck or go off the road to no man's land. The outrageous turns and tracks will give you a ride of a lifetime. It is a multi-player fun filled game for everyone. My mom and I played Monster Truck Madness and we had a ball! Even though we weren't on the track the whole time, we still had fun! In the hockey arena, my truck slips and slides on the ice all the way to the other goal without the puck. Manuvering on the icy arena can be quite tricky or maybe I'm just a bad driver. I had this game as a rental for 5 days. It looked like a pretty cool game from several commercials I had seen. There is a good amount of trucks to choose from. I am not a really a fan of monster trucks but I still knew who trucks like Monster Patrol and the infamous Grave Digger Truck. Those 2 especially look really cool since both of them in real life have unique designs. I'm also a wrestling fan so it was cool to see all the monster trucks based on various wrestlers I'm familiar with. The single player I can honestly say is a huge disappointment unfortunately. There is a lot of "fogging"...

Monster Truck Madness Hum where to start! My three-year-old and my husband love this game! I hate it. They love the one-on-one challenges. They play soccer and hockey with the trucks and have so much fun! I again see no enjoyment in it at all. The burping sounds are very annoying to the parents who have to endure the game even if they are not playing. Please keep this in mind . The trucks are 4-wheel drive, meaning all four wheels turn when you steer them. This is what makes it so difficult to steer. Staying on the track is very difficult. I have yet to finish a race without being in last...
