Monster Ballads Xmas (CD, Sep-2007, Razor & Tie Music)

Perfect for any 80's hair band fan. I bought this because my husband does not like Christmas music; however this he likes; he will let me play in the truck on our way to holiday gatherings.

I really enjoyed the CD. It arrived just in time for Christmas and my husband was very suprised. Thank you for having such an unusual item.

This CD has some great rock versions of Christmas songs. The lyrics are the same as the originals except for the 12 days of Christmas. "O Come All Ye Faithful" sounds so much like "We're Not Gonna Take It" and if church had guitar riffs in their music like this, I would probably still be going.

This album was basically a dream come true: a Christmas album featuring a bunch of hair metal bands. I love hair bands. I also like Christmas music. If you hate either of these things, you're not likely to enjoy this album. If you think you might like this album, you probably will. There really aren't too many surprises here; it's pretty much what it sounds like. There are a few songs that I don't really care for (Faster Pussycat's "Silent Night" is the low point), and Skid Row without Sebastian Bach is not really Skid Row, but overall this album is everything I hoped for.
