Monopoly Party (Game Cube, 2002)

Great game to play by yourself, and it is fun to play with others too. Not only do I have the game, but my mother came over and got hooked on it and she now has her own game, then one of my nieces came over, and now she's hooked on it and has her own game... It's hard to get bored with it because there are so many variations to the game, and then what happens when you finally reach $99,999.00? I'm not telling...

Let me open by saying that anyone who gives this a rating less than 4 has got to realize they're just playing the video game version of the board game. The graphics don't have to be stunning (and they're not, they're just ok), the sound doesn't have to be crisp and digitally perfect (and it's not, but what do you want?). It's Monopoly - that's it; nothing more and nothing less. If you like Monopoly, but hate the time it takes to play/set-up, or not being able to save, or just hate the bland themes, then this game is ideal for you. Anyone who enjoys Monopoly will enjoy this game. There's different themes which make the game a little different and more enjoyable. Again, if you rate this game low, it's because you forgot you were playing the video version of Monopoly. Clearly, only fans of the game should get this game.

There is nothing exciting about this game. Your camera angle pretty much stays the same the entire time. The sound is dull, and the graphics look like something from the N64 or PSOne. After just 5 mins of playing you will start yawning.

I love playing this game with my son. We also like playing with four players. It's fun for the whole family. You don't have to do any dificult figuring or math because the computer does it for you... The computer also prevents cheating too, unlike the board game. Its been out for a while you can probably pick it up used for a reasonable price.

It is very easy to play on the system. You can play it three ways, you can change the rules around. You can play alone with the system. I also got it at a good buying price from the seller.

I first purchased this game about 8 years ago. Unfortunately, we were robbed and they cleaned out all of our movies and video games. This is one that I missed enough to purchase again, and make an effort to find. It takes all the fun of the original game, and does away with a lot of the hastle... You don't have long set up and clean up times, and you can still do everything, including customizing the rules. Everything from trading properties, to setting the prize amount for landing on FREE PARKING is still in tact. It allows me, to play with my children, teach them the game, but without all the set up and take down time. It also allows us to play part of a game and come back to it later without messing up a room or needing to leave the table occupied if we need to take a brake. Really a lot of fun. I also love that it keeps statistic of the players to see how we improve overall against each other. It is not bad playing against the computer either. I highly recommend this title to anyone who loved the original game.

I don't like the property transaction forum. The graphics are okay, but get in the way of the game. Overall, it's an okay game.

very fun and a must have game for family && friends...very good to play with when you bored are when your with family and friends.

it looked excellent. looking for 4 player games. great game i have kids andadults its tough to find games that all will enjoy. we like the board game and think this game is great fun for the family.

I like that you can play by yourself and still have competition and choose how many people you want to play with. I also like that you can change different themes that change your tokens and your houses.

keeps the kids out of mischief and they love it. you can move aroud the board with ease and you can keep track of where you are. Trying to trade cards at first was a task but once you know where you are going its pretty simple.

I would love the game if it did not force you to auction off property that you don't buy when you land on the spot.

THIS GAME ROCKS! FUN FOR EVERYONE. ITS JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL MONOPOLY ONLT IT MOVES SOOO MUCH FASTER! I LOVE IT!
