    50's Sci-Fi movie, depicting these meteorites that made their way through the earths atmosphere and when humans come in contact with them, they Slowly begin to turn to stone. The small peices of the meteorite, black in color, are spread out throughout the world. (US) When they come into contact with water, they grow into towering structures that eventually become top-heavy sky scrapers and fall forward, shattering into countless small chunks which reciprocate when in contact with water. Interesting concept, good 1 1/2 hour movie.
