i was a die hard monkee fan. this dvd set brings me right back to all those fond memories. the quality is excellent. the deal went through super fast. i highly recommend this product. i'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

KIDS WILL LOVE THIS AND ADULTS AS WELL! VERY CUTE, SILLY, AND FUNNY!!! all episodes are great. Also, lots of special features, like commercials and more.

Just like its predecessor, Season 2 of the classic 60s television sitcom The monkees still holds up very well. All 26 episodes are included in this DVD boxed set. Once again, we get to see Michael Nesmith, David Jones, Peter Tork and Micky Dolenz 'Monkee' around. The stories are well told, and the songs are a delight to watch and listen to. When the boys returned to television for the 1967-1968 season, there were many changes that were evident. However, the overall quality of these shows has not diminished in any way; watching them again after over 40 years is still a lot of fun. The style of the show might have gone in a slightly different direction than before, but the boys handled it very well. Once again, many of the songs featured seem like they could easily serve as music videos. In fact, when MTV recycled this program on February 22nd, 1986, it revived the group's popularity to an entirely new generation. As a bonus in this boxed set is the group's 1969 network special '33 1/3 Revolutions Per Monkee', which aired only one time. That show might seem a bit dated, but it is still a great pleasure to have it included in this DVD set. Altogether, the complete second season of 'The Monkees' is still a lot of fun for people of all ages.

Monkees DVD Box Set Season TwoThis is a great set although I imagine season one may even be better.. Comes in a very cool package (A facsimile phonograph) and has all episodes for that season all housed in great vintahge looking pic sleeves. The audio is 5.1 so VERY VICE! You forget just how hilarious these guys were until you watch these! A great chemisrty for four unknowns put together to make a show! CLASSIC! This set is pricey so looking for a used set is worth the hunt.

Happiness is a boxfull of Monkees.If you love the Monkees, this set is EXCELLENT. The visual quality is perfect, as is sound quality. Every episode is full of laughs, and the music videos are timeless gems. Season Two box set is well worth buying for all true Monkees fans.

I have been a Monkees fan since the show originally aired. My sisters and I had a regular date with the TV on Mondays at 6:30. Watching the 2nd season again has brought back so many great memories of the 60's. I was in the 5th and 6th grade at the time so of course all of my friends and I had huge crushes on the Monkees. I think the attraction to the show, besides the adorable stars, was that they were always the underdogs. Always trying to succeed but never quite making it. I'm so thankful that they are again available for my viewing pleasure. I use my stair stepper while I watch so the Monkees help me to stick to an exercise routine as well. I highly recommend this set to Monkees fans everywhere. If you're too young to be a fan, just watch and you will be!

I bought the monkees second season to go with the first season I had purchased. I grew up with this singing group and liked there show very much. Since you don't see this show on TV in the area where I live it is good to have the DVD set at the house to play anytime I like. The price was very good on ebay so purchasing it was not a problem. Plus finding items you can't find in stores anymore, ebay is the place to go. The item also was a great marketing package that is great to have on the shelf in the house.

1. A trip to mexico goes south when the evil El Diablo captures Davy.
2. Peter labors to clear the name of his bandmates after they unwittingly rob a bank.
3. Davy's hand in marriage becomes the object of desire for a wealthy Arabian princess.
4. In a Bid to save the group's groovy pad, Mike Nesmith runs for mayor.
5. Peter gets caught in a plot to counterfeit and steal a priceless Rembrandt.
6. Micky's pride is at stake when a muscle man steals his chick.

1. Caught in the middle of family feud, Davy is once again threatened with the prospect of marriage.
