Monk - Season 6 (DVD, 2008, 4-Disc Set)

I love the Monk series, wanted to complete my collection. As a rule, this is a very good series, contains humor, drama, and intrigue. We may laugh at those with obsessive compulsive behaviors, but this series helps us to see that we all are a little wierd in our own way, don't have to be obsessive compulsive. Randy is strange also in his own way, but a very likeable character. Natali has the patience of a saint in dealing with Monks phobias. Captain is willing to step outside of the uniform to help his friend, Monk. I think there is much to be learned for all the characters in this series.

This season encompasses all that we loved about quirky Det. Monk. We see much more bonding between him and Natalie. One would almost hope that they don't ruin this special friendship in the series finale by them professing love.

Randy, Stottlemeyer et. al. all don't disappoint in their performances.

The story lines stay consistently funny, different, imaginative and on target throughout this season.

You will not be dissapointed at all.

We bought it to complete our set. But as all TV serieses, the program content was not as good as the earlier seasons. They just run out of stories to write about.

I couldn't find this disk set in the stores. Also, it was a great price off retail. I had all of the previous seasons.

I decided to buy the series of Monk, because I was tired of borrowing the DVD's from the library. The waiting list was way to long.

I was extremly happy with my purchase. We love Monk and since we no longer have the channel that shows this series we purchased the latest season on dvd so we could continue to enjoy it.

I Like Murder Mysteries and comodies and you get both in Monk.
I Have Previously Enjoyed Watching Monk but no longer get it on the Satalite Dish.

With a grand total of 8 seasons, Monk is one of the best tounge-in-cheek comedy/mystery detective shows ever. Tony Shalhoub as a ex-cop, now detective consultant with police, has OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and an outstanding memory for unobvious clues. He solves pretty much every crime. I find his OCD (touching each parking meter while walking down the street, avoiding stepping on cracks in the sidewalk, wiping hands after a handshake, etc.) adds a real excitement to the show, especially when he should be chasing down a murderer. This review is for Season 6 DVD box set, but all the Seasons are just as good. Each box set includes behind the scenes and interviews. I am collecting every season as soon as they become available. If you have not seen Monk yet, watch a few episodes on USA Network channel. I love this show.

This was the best deal and Monk is one of my favorites. It was brand new-- factory packaged and in perfect condition.

One of the most entertaining series on television. The cast of Monk play off each other so well with their fondness for the obsessive compulsive detective. Tony Shaloub captures the soul of Monk who is tormented by grief over the loss of his wife Trudy. You feel his constant anguish and yet Mr Shaloub brings comedy into a tragic situation.

If you like movies about investigators that are also comical, then this is the show for you. MONK is a detective that invistigates crimes but there is a twist, he is also a mentally ill man that has obsessive compulsive issues that sometimes make for a good comedy to boot. Just started watching this show but appears to have 6 seasons already made. Caught a deal on season 6 and 5 now I am in search for 1-4. Hope this helps.

I have all 6 seasons of Monk...I am a Monk fan and like a show that isn't so graffic but still has a mystery to be solved...His compulsions are so real if you know anything about them...

One of the funniest sitcoms I've seen in a long time. I now have all 6 seasons. I Love this series.

I have all of the other seasons and needed this one to keep my series current. I love everything about it. It was a gently used dvd but in excellent condition.

Great show. Enjoyed this show on television. We no longer have cable and we decided to buy these dvds.

I bought this collection because my wife loves to watch Monk. I enjoy the show also. It is a great collection of shows and it's great to not be bothered with commercials. Monk is good clean fun.

Our whole family loved this series and season 6 was as good and funny as the other 5 seasons. Great stuff and memorable lines from these talented actors and actresses. Scenes are really good, too. Awesome!

Monk, one of the best shows on TV. Season 6 just adds to the enjoyment of this series. Tony Shahloub again shows why he keeps getting Emmy's for this role.
It's just a great laugh and really enjoyable.
