I liked this cookbook a lot. Since butter and sugar were rationed during WWII, most of the recipes had very little sugar and butter, so they were nutritious. The background on the food in the time period of WWII was great! The book was a great glimpse into life in the 1940s.

) Shipping was kinda slow on this. These vintage recipes are awesome and there are little pictures in the book to help you learn about the time period. I loved these past times as a girl and this is one of the few I didnt have.
