Molly: An American Girl (DVD, 2006)

I thought that this was a delightful movie, a must see for all girls. It brought home the valves and ideas of the past that our children do not get to see alot in this day and age. I would highly recommend this movie for all families! I purchased this movie because my families has watched past American Girl Movies and loved them so we expected the same from this one. My youngest daughter is an avid American Girl fan.

This movie is Great for Girls. Every Girl should see this it teaches great lessons about overcoming hardships, and being the best of friends. This movie also theaches having love for our country and understanding our duty to her. I even found myself wathching in aniticipation to see how the movie turned out.

I bought this for my 9 year old great niece. I have not watched it myself; however her and her 3 sisters ages 2-4-12 all love it. They have watched it every day since receiving it.

My daughter loves this movie. While watching it on the Disney chanel she was letting us know what should be happing next.

This is a great movie for the family. It teaches great morals and shows a glimpse into history. My daughter and I loved watching this movie together.

Things can change overnight in war time. But no ice cream?! Fiances, sons, and brothers going into the military. Not enough rations for a birthday party fit for Princess Elizaeth or Princess Margaret Rose? Love and life go on, dancing, lockets, and singing America the Beautiful. Who will be Miss Victory?.. Then come the blackout drills. Dad boards a bus and goes to war. Mother becomes employed to help assemble machinery. Families become black and white photos and letters. Doing one's part may mean eating turnips and babysitters. Sometimes we have to do things whether we like to or not. Casseroles are baked as news comes that some loved ones won't be coming home alive. Then come the refugees. More and more the war takes on human faces, sharing and human consequences. I loved the movie!

This is a wonderful movie for girls of today. With so much violence and unappropriate subjects in the movies, its nice to see kindness and innocence still exist in a time when technology have taken away a simplier way of life. I highy recommend all of the American Girl movies. I have everyone of them and they are all a nice collection of Values that do not exist today. You won't be disappointed!!

I bought this movie because my daughter got Molly A.G. doll for xmas. WE wanted to learn more about her because her birthday theme is all about her. So we rented this movie first. It's super cute. HAs known actors in it. It goes over Molly's story books. Loved it. So I had to get it and all Molly's books for her birthday gifts.

The movie was wonderful. It made me laugh and cry. It really taught about life and family and friendship.

This is a wonderful DVD for little girls. I would recommend it to other mothers/fathers with confidence.

I bought this DVD to share with my granddaughters. It is a wholesome story and also brings out the a historical perspective. This movie has good values that are worth passing on to a new generation.

This movie follows the American Girl book series really well. The movie is wholesome. You can let your daughter watch and not be worried about the content. This is so refreshing in this time and age. This movie appeals to all ages and sexes. My husband, who doesn't care for American Girls, etc, liked them and watched all the movies. He even suggested that we buy our daughters the American Girl movies series.

I bought this movie for my granddaughter after looking in stores for it. Although I have not seen the movie my granddaughter has watched it several times already. If you are an American Girl fan this is a must see!

The Molly movie story varies a little from the book as most movies do. It was an excellent show but better for girls a little older probably 9 and up. Of, course I enjoyed it and realized that my mother was probably about Molly's age during the time of World War II. The movie provides many topics to talk about and how things are so different from the 40's and now. Molly faces many changes in this tale and how the changes affect her and those around her. Excellent film. I recommend it to all American Girl fans.
