I remember watching this movie when I was a little girl. I loved it then, I love it now. My favorite parts are when "Max" played by Chevy Chase is walking down a wet New York strip lit up with a neon pink light coming from a sign that says, "Love Seize the Momment". It reminds of the saying, carpe diam. I also like when "Max" arrives for the first time at, "The Psycho House", (the actual house used for the movie psycho)but instead of seeing it in its bright yellow glory, we see it through Max's eyes all dark and stormy. I Like that scene a lot. Nell Carter is great as the ever amazing, "Dorita" housekeeper of the house. In this movie she is the gasoline and Chase is the flame, explosive combination. I love the ending where Max's powers end up with "Dorita". I am so envious of her, what girl, wouldn't want to sip champagne all day, and let the broom, mop, dishes clean themselves?
