it is a show from when i was growing up and i loved watching it. i like watching it now because i can go back in time. all the old cars, clothes and the way we talked.

Okay...so I am transported back to being 12 years old and just as in love with Michael Cole as ever! Loved this show as a pre-teen, and loved reliving those great memories. What I loved most was the special features with Peggy Lipton and Michael Cole telling stories about their experiences with the show- A fun ride back to my childhood!

) THIS WAS MY FAVORITE SHOW AT THE TIME AND HAS ALWAYS REMAINED MY SECOND FAVORITE AFTER THE FUGITIVE WITH DAVID JANSSEN. THE MOD SQUAD ARRIVED TODAY AND IS SO GREAT IN SIGHT, SOUND AND MEMORIES. REMAINS A GREAT SHOW TO WATCH, AND WONDERFUL STORIES. NOTHING COMPARES TO THE JOY OF WATCHING THESE OLDER SHOWS. NOW OWN IT AND CAN ENJOY WATCHING IT OVER AND OVER.

This is a great DVD; the good old days!Bought it for some nostalgia and for when prime-time TV was still worth watching. Shows were clean back then, people respected others unless that was part of their character, not a general theme of the show. :) This images on this DVD are clear, in excellent shape. Obviously some of it is dated, but not enough to roll your eyes at, except for some of the clothes back in the day. It's a show in which people genuinely cared for each other without necessarily caring what was in it for them. Friends were true blue.

Great DVD for years of enjoymentI have been a collector of old TV shows for years and this was number one in my book. When they finally came out with the Mod Squad I couldn't believe it. You get to go back to the time of the 60's where life was much easier then it is now and not as complicated. It was a show from when I was growing up and I loved watching it because it brings back alot of memories and I can go back in time and be young again. I hope you enjoy this DVD as much as I do and I can't wait for more to come out.

I never get tired of watching TV shows that I grew up. The Mod Squad had 2 guys and a girl who were hip to the scene of what was happening around them. They went undercover for the cops, even though they never had any police training and got the bad guys. How cool is that! They wore the hippest cloth's and grooved to latest songs on AM radio. The show may seemed dated today for viewers who are not familar with this show, but after viewing a couple of episodes, you will dig it! Peggy Lipton who plays Julie went off in real life and married Quincy Jones and made a few movies. She will always be associtated with this tv show. Clearence Williams III and Michael Cole also went into movies and tv roles after the show ended. Love Beads, flower children, the generation gap, kids in trouble with the law who become undercover detectives, sock it to me baby! Get both volumes of The Mod Squad and take a trip back in time, wher it was cool to sit home every week and watch your favorite tv show.

well for me i am a collector of old tvshows and this is a great part of my collection and the way times are now shows like the mod squad should be brought back on tv to show how there is still problems in the streets and suburbs and that ther will be always crime in america.

I loved seeing it again - this time in color and not having to fight with rabbit ears (remember those??!!) However I don't like the fact that this season is split in two different DVD's and that people get them confused. Why not tell people straight out that season 1 is split (don't get me going on the Ironside TV Series - releasing only part one of the first and second seasons. Only after some research did I find the complete 1st season or the complete second season- I don't know how many other consumers will spend their free time looking for part 2 - then then finding out there is no part two for season one. Irratating your consumers!! You'll stay in business for a long time. You must buy the complete season.) Season 1 and Volume 1 and season 1 and Volume 2 doesn't make most consumers happy realizing that they either are left hanging or miss the beginning of the season. Why not use 8 hour DVD's and divide the show by the season? Wouldn't that make more sense? I HATED the dvd container as at least one is always falling out. Why did I buy it? Well I remembered watching it or trying to watch it as technology wasn't what it is today, just wanted to see it again without fighting for reception and in color! WOW!
