MOBILE CROSSING WAYPOINT 200 NATIONAL EDITION

This thing is a powerful pocket pc, running Microsoft Mobile 2003, with a 400mhz XScale processor. Compact, light, and I love the cool blue color.
The gps receiver is remote, so it can be placed for best reception, and remain unmoved. The bluetooth card, which is included, allows the Waypoint to communicate with any bluetooth enabled device. The included mounting accessories, are first rate and highly functional, providing a secure mount in a vehicle, and quick dismount for taking the Waypoint along for personal use.
The included map, is only a version with all the major highways. It comes with a free download, of one(1) area specific map. The website is easy to navigate, and the downloads are fairly fast. There is even a provision that in the event of a download being interrupted, or even corrupted, you can redownload, and only the missing information will be added.
I have not tried to use the Waypoint with other mapping software, but I don't see why it would not be compatible, as it is a bluetooth enabled pc. I would think that a SD, or CF card would be needed to hold the maps, as the device itself, does not have a huge amount of storage space. But then again, I don't know of any that does.
Voice guided, turn by turn directions, powerful pocket pc, pda, thats what you get with the Waypoint 200. Simple to use, with extensive capabilities. I myself was navigating with it, within 20 minutes of turning it on, after downloading the maps, and the initial charge. All you do, is let the gps, aquire a satellite, about two(2) minutes, enter your destination, and go.
I like it.
