Mizuno T-Zoid T3 Ti Single Iron Golf Club

Per topic under a "single iron" the Dynamic Gold's high shaft kickpoint just doesn't work well even with the 3 & 4 irons. You have to be built solid to get them to perform.

For the smooth-tempo swinger like me, I decided to reshaft my T3s with the "Release" Model by T.T. & am pretty pleased with the flight of all my irons esp. the 3 iron.

The actual Model T3 is a combination of good & bad characteristics that I found while I am still playing this model. The good, is the well crafted / design with the unique Ti insert...the distance factor is based on the understanding that this model is 4* stronger for each iron...the 9 iron is actually the loft of an 8 iron in most common sets etc.

The Ti insert, is the pivot point of this set. The face retains the grooves better than soft steel, however, the true essence of the "Buttery feel of Mizuno's" is not as present as desired...yes, the iron has it's own sweetspot feel, but, in all honesty...it does not feel like a Mizuno...

The clubface is pleasant, strong appearance & solid looking. Draws effortlessly & very durable.

I bought this item to try it out. As people say, this club is a little harder for me to hit than a hybrid, but I want to try to use it as a sub for my fairway wood or 3-hybrid. Today, hitting into a stiff wind, I wasn't pleased but the longer shaft feels good and promises long balls. (After two months, I love this club off the tee. I can hit a decent stinger-style shot with it, and solid contact feels so good.)
