Mizuno MX 700 Driver Golf Club

Pros-addressing the ball is great. Overall balance is excellent from one end to the other, club is light and the head doesn't have that heavy feeling, you know if you put a doughnut weight on the end of a club and swing it, it doesn't have that feeling. The sound is on the high end but sound great. Distance is excellent even on mis-hits.

Cons-if you are a natural high ball hitter, then get a 9*. Gets big loft if you tee it up low. Not much roll. Too bad Mizuno doesn't match other offers of a free fairway wood with purchase.

Great Club wouldn't trade it for a R9. The best driver I have used. The ball just takes with this driver. I have has other Mizuno drivers like the 600 but this is the best.

I recently bought a set of mx 200 irons w/hybrids and was so impressed, I bought this MX 700 Driver. WOW! What a great stick. My old 460cc driver used to go 200-225 yards, this Mizuno is going 250-275. Great quality, easy to swing and it goes long. I've played two rounds and this club has taken 5-6 strokes off my game. It has a weird sound when you strike the ball, but even miss hits go forever and still land in the fairway. If you like Mizuno quality and design and want to hit a great driver, get this.

The product was fine the shipping was not. It was supposed to ship Priority Mail for which I was charged $20. Instead the product was shipped via UPS ground and took over a week to get from the west coast to the east coast. I was not very happy.

Club is exactly as described by seller. Since I have a low swing speed, the regular shaft fits perfectly.
Still learning to hit it, but it's definitely longer than my old driver - and feels better.

This driver has performed well for me. I would rate it 8.5/10.
Very solid feel and sound - which is important to me. I have the Exsar shaft in regular flex. If you play a stiff shaft driver now, hit this regular flex before buying it. I found that the Exsar regular flex is more stiff than other regular flexes, like Aldila. For reference, my swing speed is 100-105 mph.
The launch angle on this club is slightly higher than most clubs. So if you want to keep it to a moderate trajectory, get the 9.5 degree over the 10.5 degree, as that may be too high for many players.
My only "concern" at this point would be distance. I have only played twice with it, so I still need to get comfortable swinging it. At this point I'd say the distance is not quite as long as my Taylor Made Tour Burner.
At the end of the day though, I'll be hanging onto this club. Good feel on a solid hit, forgiving, straight, pleasing to the eye and above average distance.
What more can you ask of a driver? Free lessons?

If you are familiar with Mizuno products, you will not be disappointed with this driver. The regular flex shaft and 10.5* loft is perfect combination for my swing. The club face is a little draw bias setup, enough to where a slight miss hit the ball still travels straight. And a well hit ball has that draw adding some extra yardage. Try one first from your local pro shop or friends to see if this is for you.

Of course the club looks great too.
