Mizuno MX 100 Iron set Golf Club

I will start this out by acknowledging that I am not a golf pro and recently taken up the game. Therefore, I may not be completely familiar with the terminology used to describe clubs and this is simply a dictation of my personal feel and response to these clubs. I am very pleased with these golf clubs. I am about a 20-25 handicap golfer and was looking for a set of forgiving golf clubs that still allowed me to achieve the distance I desire. These clubs are the perfect fit. I find the hybrid 4 and 5 much easier to hit than the long irons I used to play and I can achieve distances of over 200 yards with each club. I also thoroughly enjoy hitting the short irons with the large cavity back. I find that I can control the club face throughout my swing and I am slicing and hooking balls on a much less frequent basis. The downside is that these are fairly expensive clubs for an amateur golfer but I was able to get a good deal here on ebay.

these clubs are very forgiving, even mishits fly far enogh to keep you playing. i would reccomend to a beginner looking for a set.

Definitely clubs for the high handicap golfer.

Super forgiving - I hit a lot of balls off the toe, but am still getting loft and distance.

Feedback - although "game improvement" irons aren't supposed to give you any feedback, I can definitely tell where on the club face I hit the ball before even looking down at the grass mark

Since getting these clubs, my 9-hole rounds have gone for 70's to 60's to now low 50's.

Defintely recommend this set for begginers that are just taking up golf and want to be able to learn the game without losing a million balls a round.

This is the best set of irons I have owned. I replaced my Nikes with the Mizuno and they are everything they say they are and more. The 4 and 5 hybrids are fantastic. I decided to buy them after trying my golfing partners set (also purchased on ebay). Probably the only dislike I can think of is that the set did not come with a sandwedge. It did come with a gap wedge which is now one of my favorite wedges. I did find a site that found single Mizuno irons and purchased a sandwedge there.

I wanted these irons because they made the Golf Digest Gold List for 2009. Although a single digit handicap player, I felt at 64 years of age I'd try a super forgiving club. They haven't disappointed. They have the look of player's clubs, yet play as forgiving or better than the Callaway X20s I used before. It took me awhile to get used to the 4 and 5 hybrids. But once I did, they proved to be a great help to my game. And to top it all off, I saved $200 from the best price at the big golf discount stores.

This product is as described by the seller. Very good condition with very miner scuff marks on some of the clubs. Other clubs are like new. A new set of clubs was tested by me at a major golf store. Foudn these clubs on e-bay at a significant savings and with very good to excellent quality.

After 2 rounds with these clubs I have not a single bad thing to say about them. The way they are weighted makes it very easy to get the ball in the air. They appear to be as forgiving as advertised because even my mis-hits go straighter and farther (it is almost unfair to the 'pidgeons' I play with). These are beautiful clubs that play extremely well and the only complaint I have is that my handicap is surely going to drop. This will make it more difficult to pluck my 'pidgeons' who, by the way, hate my new clubs. I got the set for under $400 and they are easily worth twice that. I will be adding built up grips before next season, just my preference, but the grips they come with are just fine.

Great feel and forgiveness as advertized by Mizuno. Loving these clubs. The hybrids are super light. The S-300 shafts on the Irons do need a good swing speed to get good distance but provide amazing control for me.
