  MP-32's Forgiveability & Playability

I am a low handicap player (+1) and believe firmly that Mizuno is the best manufacturer of irons. Before the big name companies started throwing hug sums of money at tour players, Mizuno was the #1 iron on tour. The MP-32 are a great blend of forgiveability and playability. Previously, I had played the MP-14 (true blade irons) but realized having some forgiveness in your clubs is ok, even if you scrafice some playability. I went to the Titleist 704.CB. I didn't like them at all. The MP-32's have been awesome.

I'm a 16 handicap, so in reality, I should have bought the mp 60's. However, my iron play is the strong part of my game and I am in no way upset with my clubs. I have never hit a club that felt so good when you pure it - it's like butta! And you can definitely work a draw or fade. It added about 3-5 yards to each iron, which is nice. I love the thin profile. And they made me a better player - not just because of the quality of the workmanship, but they made me work hard to reduce my mis-hits so I could take full advantage of the positives.

Like I said - If I had to do it over again, I would have gone with the mp 60's, just because I'm not a single-digit handicapper. But I'm not going back now! In general, I believe in Mizuno irons. They just look & feel very satisfying.

Excellent Low handicap clubs!
Clubs are excellent, Play very nice and are really nice to look at. The heads are small and somewhat forgiving but you should be 5 handicap or less to fully enjoy.

Mizuno MP 32 Iron set Golf Clubs

These are simply the best irons ever made. You will improve while playing them and the feedback is unmatched. Anything Mizuno is top-notch, and these stand out as their best product ever offered. The feedback is incredible… and to watch it rise into the air hit the green and spin is amazing… you feel like a pro. this iron is the working golfers iron, the person who wants the most from their game they may take a bit of getting used to but the performance is unmatched its simply the best iron blade ever built.
Definitely the benchmark blade in my book. There's really no better feeling in golf than a well hit Mizuno blade. Despite conventional wisdom (everyone should be playing cavity backs), I'd recommend that if you are a mid-handicap player with decently consistent ball striking looking to get better, that you seriously consider this club… you just can't beat the instant feedback that a great blade provides... This club is a MUST TRY club if you have not hit with it. One of the easiest, well balanced clubs I have ever hit. Super soft hitting feeling and the feedback is amazing. I will guarantee that if you practice with this club you will start to notice what you have been doing (right and wrong).

Summary:
If you are not playing golf with these irons, you are simply not playing golf… period.

If you are a good ball stricker these will be great irons for you. If you sometimes misshit shots I would recommend the mp60's. If you are a pin seeker these can't be beat.

  Mizuno MP 32 review

These are a great "next step" club for the 9-13 handicap, and a beautiful club for the scrach to 8 capper. They are generally regarded as a blade club, but have a very small touch of cavity in the heart of the club. With this, you are able to work the ball better than with a full cavity back club. Mizuno is a world class product, and I was fortunate to secure these for only 499.00. if you are seriuos about improving your golf game, try these out!!

Mizuno MP 32 - Great irons
Review created: 04/06/09
by:
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

I have been golfing for 20+ years and until recently, only played two sets of irons. Both were performance enhancing cast cavity backs. I wanted to make the move to a player’s set. After convincing myself I could strike a blade at demo days, I made the plunge. I now have several sets of new and old model years of Mizuno blades and cut muscles, Titleist blades, Cleveland blades (CMM cast – but soft), Hogan blades and KZG blades. With all the clubs compared to the cavity back, I have much improved distance control and accuracy on well struck shots. bad shots remain bad shots. The feedback from a forged muscle back is making me a better golfer. Don't listen to the snobs and don't be afraid to try a muscle back!

I think the MP-32 is the best looking of all the Mizuno cut muscle. I like the appearance of the more rounded toe. The MP-32 has 1-2* stronger loft than the other sets I play, thus giving a little more distance. I like the minimal offset, not progressive, but two tiers. The head is compact. Top line is a bit thicker than Titleist, Hogan, Cleveland and KZG. Low bounce progressive 2* to 6* from 3i to PW. I find the launch medium to high even with X100 shaft. The only club, though, with lower launch for me is the Cleveland Tour. I agree with everyone else, the MP-32 feels buttery. It is beautiful, a true classic and one of my favorite sets.

  MP 32 "Shot Makers"
Review created: 03/10/09

The Mizuno MP 32 irons are clubs for the "shot maker". Someone who's a good ball striker, but looking to take their game to the next level. I have been struggling with my accuracy using some cavity backs that are slightly offset, which are used for novice to good players. The first time out with the MP 32's I was able to create the shots I wanted. The clubs had the solid feel that I had been looking for combined with accuracy. Awesome clubs!

Mizuno MP 32's .....Better Than I Am!
Review created: 01/08/09
by:
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

I bought this set of MP32's (used, Good Condition) and all I can say is WOW! Now I remember those blades I started with way back when! Struck true, these things magically project the ball to your target with surprising speed. The feel of a well struck ball is immediately apparent. Distances are consistent with my last set, if not a smidge longer.
However, and this is another memory of my old blades, poorly struck shots PUNISH you! Distances are dramatically shorter, and the clubs feed-back through your hands harshly! Overall, this is what I was looking for when I bought them. I believe that better clubs like this, for reasons mentioned previously, force you away from lazy swing thoughts and mechanics.....Provided you are willing to put in the WORK to be able to use them.
These opinions are just that, opinions. I don't profess to have the answers for every golfer, but I know myself pretty well, and I'm confident that the MP32's were a REALLY GOOD choice for me.
Cheers! Jon

  Purchase of Mizuno MP-32 Irons
Review created: 08/04/07
by:
3 of 16 people found this review helpful.

I purchased the clubs after much debate. Had gone through the EBAY portfolio of several sellers and finally made a decision to purchase. The clubs are fantastic and my only regret is that the seller doesn't seem to respect the fact that when I bought the items, there was "NO DELAY" of my payment which means there was immediate payment! After recieving the clubs, I responded with a positive feedback though it took longer than expected to get the clubs. To this day, after 6 emails to contact the seller, they, out of lack of respect for me and the money I spent, have yet to leave feedback for me.

These actions are what the EBAY community survives on and helps to build character for the buyer and seller. I, at this point, have been very pleased with the outcome at this time. And should not have to remind others of their responcibilties to their customers. These actions will certainly curtail my use of EBAY!

  Outstanding Irons
Review created: 04/04/07
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

I hit a few shots with a friend's MP 32's and loved the feel. I had been playing cavity backs for about 8 years and never did like the feel of them, having grown up with forged clubs. I bought my set through Ebay and paid less than half of what they cost new.
This by far the best iron I've hit in years. Most people say you should have a cavity back for the long irons. Not with this club. These are going to be in my bag for a long, long time.

Absolutely fantastic club. Easily the best iron I have ever played with. Easy to work, little off-set, very clean look at address. There is no reason for me to ever change heads. I didn't care for the 60s, IMO these are better.

You will absolutely fall in love with these pin seeking irons. If you like putting from inside 5 feet, then these are the irons for you. My swing is pretty ugly and everytime I look up after that sweet crack at impact my ball is making a bee line for the flag. Get a set quick!

MP Irons from Mizuno never let you down

I worn out 2 sets of MP-29's and am trying the 32's now. I have been nothing but happy so far. These are the highest caliber clubs. It's a shame so many people are afraid to play them. Much more forgiving than most golfers will ever realize. They make you play better

I love how good of shape and how well these irons hit. They also look very pretty in the bag. I hit them way better than my old iron because they are blades and because of the stiffer shaft. I bout them because it was a steal for the price and they had the shafts in them that I needed. I am really happy with this purchase.

I have owned many different sets of irons and love the feel of a well struck shot on a forged blade...These are absolutely the very best irons ever made.....Play and feel like blades when centered and forgive like cavity backs when not centered...Out of all the sets of irons I have owned over the years these are the ones I compare the others to....There arent any that are even close...

The quality of the irons far exceeded my expectations for the price. There is no way I could have bought the same irons locally from friends or club members for any less.
The condition of the irons exceeded the sellers description.

  Mizuno MP32s
Review created: 10/13/08
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

I bought these clubs because I need a second set to take to my other office in the northeast. I currently play with a set of Mizuno MP 29 irons which I have owned for 10 years and I really love these irons. The MP 32's are very similar to the blade style that I really love to play except that the 'muscle cut' moves a little more weight to the bottom and the sweet spot. I hit these just as crisply as I do my 'old school blades' and also find that I can work the ball. These will certainly become my 1st set.

  Mizuno MP 32

These are the best golf clubs on the face of the planet, bar none. I've played lots of forged clubs and there are other good ones ouot there, but none compare to the sweetness that are the Mizuno MP 32s. These are the clubs Moses played at the Sinai Country Club. And the talk about these being for low handicappers is gibberish. They are for people who are a 10 or less, but they're fairly forgiving clubs. Think halfway between a traditional blade and a standard sized cavity back. They're less forgiving than a cavity back, but a cavity back that feels like you're hitting bullfrogs out of butter doesn't exist.

Being a lefty there are limited sets of irons available to me. The Mizuno MP-32s are definitely worth a look if you're looking to upgrade from your starter set. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner though.

The MP32s is one of the best looking irons I've seen, provides excellent feedback and provide great ball flight. You can tell that these are quality made by Mizuno, as confirmed by Tiger Woods himself (he's really playing a Mizuno iron with a nike endorsement on it).

I would say if you shoot in the low-90's or below, these are for you. If you're a beginner, I would say a game improvement iron set is easier to start with.
