Mizuno Fli-Hi II Fairway Wood Golf Club

I really enjoyed playing these hybrids. I have the 18 and 21 degree. The 18* is a good replacement for a 5wd/2 iron, and very reliable from the tee when accuracy is important or when going at a long par 5 in 2. The 21* is the perfect replacement for a 3/4 iron and great on long par 3's. They both have a great feel and produce a pleasing click at impact. My only complaint, and this because I do most of my own club work, is that they require a .355 taper tip shaft. I like graphite in my clubs, even irons and wedges, and finding a reasonably priced shaft designed for hybrids was difficult.

I bought this as a replacement for 3&4 graphite stiff long irons. The Fli-Hi is Dynalite SL regular flex. It goes straight and longer than a 4, but low. Have to set up as a 7 iron to get any height. Great wind cheater. Swings stiffer than a regular flex. Want low and long and hot? This is the club.

I have been using a Mizuno Fli Hi II Hybrid 24* Iron for the past two years and recently added the 18* and 21* which completes this set of hybrid irons. All have graphite shafts with regular flex. The Mizuno 24* has been my "go to club" for distances between 140-155 yards. The 21* I use for 155-165 yards and the 18* seems to work well for about 165-175 yards (a good subsitute for my 5 wood),(My driver swing speed is now between 75-80). I especially enjoy using these clubs as they seem to be easy to control and get airborne. They are also easy to work a draw or fade with.

As a learning golfer (not a low handicapper)I appreciate the fine craftsmanship Mizuno puts into their irons. When I take out one of these clubs not only do they look good to me but I am confident that they will help my score. I would recommend these hybrid irons to golfers of all levels of ability.

I have tried a number of different hybrids but keep coming back to these Mizuno Fli Hi II's. In my opinion the Mizuno Fli Hi II Hybrid Irons (18*, 21*. & 24*) are more effective than a number of the newer high priced hybrids on the market today.

I bought all three of mine for reasonable prices on E-Bay. If you can find one or more you will not be disappointed. You will be impressed with the feel and performance of these clubs.

I have never gotten used to looking at Hybrids so I tried these(both 18 & 21 degree) and found them fantastic. Very good replacment for your long irons.
