Movie Description E.L. Konigsberg's Newberry Award-winning children's book is brought vividly to life in this tale of two kids who run away from home and discover adventure in the Metropolitan Museum. There, after the galleries close, they have adventures among the medieval armor and precious statues. When they discover a statue that is so mysterious that the two go on a mission to discover its creator, a question that has baffled art historians for years. Their search quickly leads them to Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler (Bacall), the statue's former owner, where they encounter her mixed-up files.
