When I first hooked this projector up to my Xbox 360 I was a little disappointed. Once I realized I didn't have the settings right and fixed that, I was getting true HD quality. I would recommend this projector to anyone not wanting to spend a lot of money on a 1080p projector. As far as other reviews I've seen complaining about the black levels, I haven't noticed anything wrong with mine. I have mine setup for an 80 inch screen and it looks great.

Mitsubishi HC1600 ProjectorI have it as part of my home theater. The picture is great. Even my none HD devices look good through it. I bought the ceiling mount for it. The screws and washer that come with are very weak. They kept sliding out of the ceiling. Bought better mounting screws works great.
