Great color & content of the book. My 4 year old loves the books by Eric Carle. We have bought several books lately and they all have a great story line and illustration. We rented this from the library and loved it, so we bought it for the baby on the way!

The kids love this book. Eric Carle is an excellent children books writer. The book is very colorful and entertaining. I highly recommend this book and this author for childrens books.

Eric Carle writes exceptional children's books, and this is a perfect example. It is very educational in how it shows children that father fish are the ones who hatch and care for their eggs until they become fish. Great Book!

This is a wonderful story. It has beautiful illustrations. I first read it at the library. It is now on my Grandson's first grade reading list. I ended up getting the book because it will be nice to read to my other Grandson. It is pleasant to have a father as a lead character, although it is a family story. It is pretty to look at and enjoyable to read!

Beautiful book about the joys of fatherhood/parenthood. Eric Carle's artwork is automatically reognized and the colors are so vibrant. Both my children enjoy the book and request me to read it over and over again. I decided to buy it because my 5 year old daughter is very interested in the ocean and sea life, so this was prefect!
