  Mission Impossible - 4th Season
Review created: 11/03/09
by:

We absolutely love the Mission Impossible 60's series. We've purchased each season in order through this one so far and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. When we came to this 4th season, however, we hesitated in buying it because we had read some reviews where people didn't like it as much due to the fact that Martin Landau and Barbara Bain had left the show. Yes, Rollin and Cinnamon were wonderful and seemed to be what made the show in the first three seasons, BUT, we went ahead and purchased this one. After the first few episodes we began to get used to Leonard Nimoy's character and settled in to enjoy. He puts in some pretty good performances with quite a bit of emotion (so different from what we were used to in Spock!). The missions are just as exciting, Barney's gadgets are great, Willie's muscles still come in handy, and the occasional female guest star (such as Lee Meriwether) works out well, though we still miss the irreplaceable Cinnamon. All in all we are very glad we went ahead and purchased this set and look forward to watching the rest of the series.

  GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Review created: 12/07/08

What is good customer service? Good Customer Service is when you can show a buyer that buys your products or visits your store that he or she stands by their product. Not tell you that the item was okay when it was shipped. Not every item comes from the factory in excellent shape. Don't tell the customer that they are wrong; make it good, that way they will come back again & again.

Cinnamon and Rollin gone~ Leonard Nimoy joins the IMF~
Review created: 07/20/08(updated 07/20/08)

with Martin Landau and Barbara Bain NOT returning they needed a new MAN OF A THOUSAND FACES and Leonard Nimoy takes that role as Paris~ Peter Graves, Greg Morris and Peter Lupus still remain~

on the lighter side they increase Willie's (LUPUS )role and he actually gets to speak instead of just being "muscle" to strong arm the BAD guys~

the only bad thing is there is no recurrent female member and it lags along the way~ occasional we see Lee Merriweather as a female agent she is OK but never quite holds our interest~

another stupid thing is they often just "disguised" Nimoy with a beard or fake hair and we know all along it is him in a BAD disguise rather than a MASK that looks like his "target"~ ALSO NIMOY has commented in the book Mission Impossible Episode Guide he did NOT enjoy this series and considers his taking this role a mistake` it shows~ Leonard~

I GIVE IT A 6 OUT OF 10 FOR GOOD TO VERY GOOD OVER ALL STILL HOLDS OUR INTEREST~

IF YOU FOUND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL~ PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE~

  Mission Impossible Great TV

Good buy! Great condition. This television show was a classic and I enjoyed watching this with my late Grandfather who always was intrigued. He always wondered why Greg Morris did not get his own show since he seemed to make all types of contraptions for them to use?

  The mission continues
Review created: 05/16/08

First class 1960's t.v. entertainment. Great writing, plenty of action and intrigue. An intelligent show. Just something you don't see today. Excellent video quality and 5.1 surround sound. A+
