First off, before anyone gets mad, let's say this is a decent film. Brian DePalma is one of the best in Hollywood at making the audinece sit on he edge of their seat for the duration of the film.
If this was a stand-alone movie and not "Mission: Impossible" I probably would have enjoyed it. BUT...to take the entire premise of the Mission Impossible series and totally ruin here makes me upset.
I grew up watching Mission and totally enjoyed the intrigue and mystery of each plot twisting episode. Each member of the team was a crucial part of the complete Mission.
In the movie, some of the team members look inept and most of the team is wiped out in the beginning. The worst part of the whole film, is tht they take Jim Phelps (Jon Voight..sorry plot revealed here) and make him the bad guy. How can you make the leader of the team the bad guy. Please come up with a more interesting plot. This totally ruins the entire TV series.
The sequels aren't much better.

Probably my favorite Tom Cruise Movie. This time being cast as the young cocky guy actually works well for him in this role and this movie will keep you guessing to the end.
Like all good spy thrillers trust no-one and everyones a suspect. Watch your back and maybe youll live.

I followed the TV series which was loaded with good actors. When the movie came out, I saw it. I tried to obtain a copy wothout any luck. After visiting pawn shops in hopes of finding a copy, I gave up. whe4n I found it on Ebay, I had to have it. The only thing wrong with the movie is that it is a little long.

Had to see this as I always saw all the MI TV shows as a kid. Must say they improved on the gimmicks and gadgets and the scenerios are very intricate. Loved this one and the other two as well. I can watch them time and again and never be bored.

I bought the Mission Impossible dvd this month and it was in excellent condition. The dvd was brand new and played perfectly. I would definitely buy from this seller again. I have always been a fan of Tom Cruise and all of his movies.

What's best about this movie is that you're never really sure who's good and who's bad and what's going to happen next. Tom Cruise is still one of my favorite actors, a lot of his other old movies are really good (Top Gun, of couse, and the lesser know Days of Thunder). An exciting movie, a lot better and less confusing than MI2.

Its a great action packed movie classic, its a movie that captures your attention and doesn't let go till the end. After seeing the 3rd mission impossible and knowing that I'd end up buying that when it came out, I decided to buy the other 2 that I didn't have so when I bought the 3rd id already have all 3 of the movies.

Well, first off, I decided to buy "Mission Impossible" on DVD, because I came across a great copy on "MI2" on DVD at a pawn shop, and I really like to have both the original movie, plus any sequels, in my collection. So, naturally, I fired up the computer and headed to eBay. After a little searching, I came across a copy that had a reasonable bid. I bid on it, and needless to say I won the auction. The movie arrived and as usual with Tom Cruise in it, it was very good. Full of action and a great story line, this one is sure to be a hit with Tom Cruise and action movie fans alike!
