Indispensible for anyone involved with children

Have them? Want them? Adopted, borrowed, step, grand, or other children in your life? Or merely forced to listen to them scream uncontrollably in the grocery store, and wish their harassed-looking parent would shut them up? Whatever your relationship to the youngest members of society, Miss Manners can help you rear them, civilize them, or at least, make them bearable. For those of you who love children, never fear - she stands up for the dignity and sensibilities of children, while insisting that their elders owe them the invaluable lessons of good manners to help them survive the growing-up experience. For those of you who only have children occasionally - grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc. -- there is still wonderful advice. Slip one onto the bedside table of every parent you know.
