Reeling from an accidental shooting during his time as a NYPD detective, Ben Carson (Kiefer Sutherland, putting forth minimal effort) has drowned his guilt in booze and rage. Trying to clean up his act and win his family (including Amy Smart and Paula Patton, fighting her cleavage for screentime) back, Ben takes a job as a security officer guarding the spooky ruins of a department store that suffered a massive fire. During his rounds, Ben spies strange visions in the massive mirrors that decorate the hallways, images that forecast gruesome death. Attempting to investigate the history of the store and its past tragedy, Ben finds he's brought the visions home to terrorize his loved ones, forcing him to fight back against the ghostly wrath of the mysterious reflections.

Wow this movie was freakin creepy, and the ending tied it all together and made you say hmmm, this is almmost surreal

Great movie !!!!
I think the plot from beginning to end was spectacular,i don't agree with the other two reviews about the ending i think it was a awesome twist, every movie can't end the same way or the way you want it to what would be the point of watching a movie if you know what's going to happen.either way this movie is a must see excellent horror flick.

The story is good up to the ending. He should have been given the opportunity to go visit his family at the same time that could have made the movie more interesting.

It's hard to say why you like or dislike a movie without giving away plot details. It almost makes watching the movie kind of pointless because you know too much of what happened and what will happen.

I will say this- I did not like the ending. So much went on throughout the movie and IMO, the ending ruined for me the whole purpose of everything Keifer Sutherland's character did or had to do.

Watch for yourself and you'll come to see exactly what I mean.

MIRRORS was a good film, that we found interesting but not quite what we had expected, it kept our attention throughout, and offered some good gore scenes. The gore scenes were on the creative side but we would have liked to see more. This was an excellent role for Kiefer Sutherland, as he played the part fairly well. Good screenplay and exciting camera shots.
The ending kind of approached quite fast and unexpected, will possibly leave you with some questions, and ended clean cut(with no expectations of the evil continuing on). The Yahoo Ranking for this film was a "B", and we would rate it the same.

Its a good movie!

Rent It or Buy It? Depending on your likings of horror films(its not horror-filled), you may want to rent it first. We're happy we bought it and would watch it again, but it wouldnt be ranked anywhere near a favorite film.

For a movie that I somehow missed at the theaters, it was an excellent find. Kiefer Sutherland did a great job in this psychological thriller! I would recommend this to anyone who loves these types of movies. It was one of the best I've seen in a while!
