I love the story line and the art style. this movie keeps you thinking and allows your mnind lots of room to move. its full of wonderfull charecters and amazing images. this is one of the most amazing movies I've ever seen!

I LOVE this movie!! It's so aesthetically pleasing. There's great animations and special effects. It's a must see for anyone who enjoys a little fantasy!!!

Neil Gaiman is an amazing writer. After reading Stardust, American Gods, Neverwhere and the Sandman graphic novel series I have found that anything he writes is worth reading or worth watching if brought to the screen. Mirror Mask is a fantasy reminiscent of Labyrinth with very creative special effects. Absolutely worth watching. Highly recommended for those who like something outside the usual.

Neil Gaiman does it again. Quirky twist, strange sense of reality, or lack thereof. Funny, artsy. Wonderful. Great soundtrack. Everyone should give this a try.

I decided to buy this on the recommendation of my 18 year old daughter. She said the special effects were great and so was the story. You must see this to believe it.

It was a good purchase! I like the movie in general, Jim Henson movies are great! I saw a clip on youtube once about it and then I decided to try and find it to watch. I am glad that I did.

I really enjoy watching this film, I have since the first time I sat down with my friends in the living room on that rainy night. The lights were out due to the storm, so we all huddled together around the laptop to watch. This film is very much something to enjoy with others.

The elements of mystery, fantasy, and even a hint of thrill cause me to smile throughout the duration of the film. In some ways the movie reflects every genre, and has something for everyone, and even things we can relate to. Not fitting in well with others, feeling like an outcast, feeling detatched from family. The biggest impact of relation is the idea that many people completely throw themselves in stories and ideas that they keep secret. In Mirrormask we're able to see the secrets and stories thought up by a teenage girl, which is always interesting.

I decided to buy it since I was tired of renting it four times a year or waiting for it to come on cable.

The evocative images and hauting story line of this movie have drawn me to repeated viewings and to purchasing copies for friends (so they won't borrow my copy and keep it). Dreamlike fantastical juxtapositions add complexity to the well-turned story. Movies like this one are where cinematography might well be going. I feel like having watched it makes me a priviledged participant in the creation of something new in the literature. Art and story combine like wildflower seeds in the garden of the mind.

MirrorMask blends illustration, 2D, with filmaking, 4D, quite seamlessly. The practical effect is that of a fairytale jumping off the paper pages of a book.
The human characters are genuine, not one-dimensional. MirrorMask is a story of reconciliation and redemption played out on a fantastic and surealistic stage.

Neil Gaiman's an excellent, imaginative writer. Everyone connected to this movie acquitted themselves well, and the result is treatalicious mindcandy movietripping of a very special kind. If you watch movies to escape reality and have experiences you cannot get in Normaltown, you're in for a good ride with Mirrormask. I bought this for my teen daughter, but it was admired by all (including her-the ultimate compliment) who count what's cool.

I love this movie because it takes me away to another place. A place that is far, far away from the proverbible box that traps in most of our thinking today. Although it is a Brillant movie by my standerds, it seems to take a couple of times of watching it to fully appeciate it.(I think this is because of the weirdness factor.)Give it a chance and i'm sure in time you too will agree.

Love this movie. it is a wonderfull form of the imagination that takes images of all areas to life together in one story about a girl and her stuggle with life as a teenager...but theres a twist....He reality is a circus, no pun intended...lol

I was very glad to receive this book, and received it right away. The history of the early 20th century events in Europe are particularly interesting to read. Thank you.

just saw the preview to this movie, and from the looks of it with all the amazing special effects, it should prove to be a very interesting and entertaining film!!! Can't wait to get it and see just how awesome it is!!!

I decided to buy this film after seeing a trailer of it on another film that I rented. It looked to be full of imagination and interesting special FX. I am glad that i purchased it and have watched it multiple times and shared it with friends. Good for older children, teenagers, on up...Check it out!

This movie captivates you, it takes a leap of creativity and lashes it's outstanding artworks into your mind and absorbs it like a sponge. This movie does not only stand out tremendously in imagination but it provokes parents/teenagers to see that communication is the key. This movie is highly recommended by me. I've watched it many times. I just can't get all that artistic ability out of my head! If I could only have half that talent!

i heard about it from a client and love jim henson movies so wanted it in my collection, it was alittle different from any others i have watched

This movie is great, it's a must for any Jim Henson fans. It's very creative and has a good story line as well; one of my favorites. Plus the seller sent it to me in great condition!

My children and I like fantasy themes. It looked like a good movie from description. Also Neil Gaiman was involved with its production and I have been impressed with his past works.

This movie was bizzarre and unique. Which is what I had expected. The movie is worth about what I paid for it, less then $7. I watched it 2 times, once myself and once with my husband. I'll never watch it again and I gave it away. It was certianly worth seeing. Buy it for cheap if you can, or rent it.
