Movie Description
The Spanish artist Joan Miro is one of modern art's most influential figures. Part of the Spanish Surrealist movement of the 20th century, Miro produced art in several different forms--painting, sculpture, theatre. In THEATRE OF DREAMS, the painter is filmed at age 85 discussing his life and work. Still active in the art world, Miro talks of his times with contemporaries like Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso. He is also captured rehearsing with actors of his theatrical production, La Claca, in his studio, and at his home on the Spanish island of Majorca.
