I have used the mio for 4 years now. There are only minor flaws, such as do not let the battery die. The expansion slot makes the device have limitless memory. The GPS built in, is actually quite accurate. The touch screen makes selecting a POI on the road a breeze with the large select buttons. Also, the live feature makes tracking the device simple. With the addition of the external antenna, windshield mount, and DC adapter you can go anywhere. As long as you do not let the battery die, there is no trouble from the device. I suggest everything stored on it (including GPS program) be loaded onto the provided SD card. This makes recovery simple. Also, keep the unit backed up. Then if the battery dies, you just need to only restore from backup.

What a piece of crap
) The seller sold it as new in box. It was, just out dated and very difficult to set up. The memory card was too small to hold any maps. Had to purchase a larger card to accomodate the outdated maps. The maps do not update and I haven't found any place on the net to update or get new maps. The pda has already locked up on me once. Had delete everything and reset up.
